They will turn the for free, but not change the pads. :lol: I wish I was in the D, I'd do them for a six pack and get you to wear something skimpy while I do them. I have them things done in less then 60 minutes and be a happy man.:ebrow:

Man, Meineke is a good spot to get your brakes replaced. It's not that expensive.

Unfortunately I'm not scheduled to come back to the D until May. I wish I was coming that way though. :lol:

Man, them brakes from autozone would end up needing to be replaced a few months later. Cheap is not always good. I used to go to autozone while I was in college. I would buy the brake pads and have the mechanic put the brakes on. Those things don't last long.

They are lifetime brakes and have been on there for 3 years. I worked at Autozone in college too....small world.
 
Go buy a case of Corona and find a Mexican.

You'll spend $16.00 on the Corona and $15 for a total car inspection.

I haven't been there in a long time, so I really haven't been keeping up with what jiffy lube does. I never had any complaints when I used them in the past.

They did a video expose on Jiffy Lube. They were robbing folx blind. Getting they money and not doing anything to the cars.

It was in California though.

Sometimes it happens. With my 1st car I used to go to Midas. I originally went in with my mom's boyfriend so they always did right by me. Before they did any work they would bring me in and show me what was wrong and show me what they were about to do. That's when I learned how a rotor SHOULD look and how mine looked. Nowadays I ask a lot of questions when I take my car in. If I start getting crazy answers, I know to just walk out. I don't have time to find a man to go somewhere with me everytime I need maintenance done. I started reading up on the stuff online and comparing prices before I walk into a shop. I get better results when I "sound" like I know what's going on.
 



My cousin took his Cadillac to the dealer for a tune-up. I told him they would rip him off and they did. 200 bucks for a tune-up. Guess what? They had that thang running ruff. I still had to back those plugs out and regap them and change the wires for him to get it to run correctly. I don't let anyone work on my cars nor trucks unless I don't know how to do it and if I don't know how I go buy the book, read it and do it myself.

I think my mom (in Greenwood) has barely 50,000 miles on her car that she's had now for almost 11 years.

I think I'm doing pretty good. I'm at 64,000 miles, and my car had 2 miles on it when I bought it 6 years ago.

While you're :lmao: lock lol, why don't U suazee' on to dallas and change them? Shouldn't take no more than 1-2 hours tops. I say 1-2 hours so that you can take all 4 rotors off and have them turned @ either O'Reilly or Autozone while waiting (depending on how busy they are). :swink: The actual process of changing the pads takes no more than 8-10 mins per wheel. If you have air (which I do along w/ every deep/shallow/richeting metric/ASE socket imaginable ;) thank ya' very much), no more than 4-6 mins. :swink:

I put Autozone life-time related pads on everything I own except for the bikes. lol I even have their pads on the car hauler. They're <b><font color=red>FREE</font></b> replacements, so I'll never EVER pay for another pad as long as I'm alive or as long as I own the currents. Changing pads is a simple process. Finding the time to change them is another deal altogether. :retard:

Get you a lifetime package on those brake pads. That's what hubby got put on mine, so next time all I have to worry about paying for is the service.

yeah, I know...your ass should have had my pads changed by now, dammit! :mad:

Imma go to Autozone and purchase everything I need...I just sent out an email to the Dallas fellas on my email list, so I'll see if someone finds me a mechanic that will do this work for me.
