Oh and the Moulin Rouge is in Paris, so why would Auburn play something from Paris?
P.S. Ruben Studdard sang "How do you Mend a Broken Heart" first.

Is Patti LaBelle name at the top of that page? Yes Patti has one and she says New Orleans instead of Moulin Rouge, why would Auburn play something with New Orleans in it?
DUMMIES :smh:
Not being sensative nothing. Stop worrying about what I say. I'm sure Auburn is familiar with Pink and Christina. :smh: How about we call the band the department and ask them what they played for Halftime in the Cotton Bowl?

Dude if ya'll say so. They played Patti LaBelle version.DUMMIES??!! Really?? What was about Auburn's version tipped you off that it was from the Moulin Rouge video/song and not the original? Was Auburn singing the lyrics?
I am curious as to your age. Were you even alive when the song was written and produced by Bob Crewe and Kenny Nolan back in the 70's? Christina Aguilera was not.
Since you posted the lyrics, why was CREOLE Lady Marmalade (New Orleans) in Paris at the Moulin Rouge? Crewe and Nolan didn't write it that way. I can assure you that you wouldn't find Magnolia wine ANYWHERE in Paris. The French wouldn't allow it.
Please help me out. I'm not dumb, but it would appear that I am ignorant.
Dude if ya'll say so. They played Patti LaBelle version.
Im tickled PINK .
lol Dude, that's who sing it to. You all think Patti is the only one who sing the d@mn song. You should stop stop posting at all. GO HIDE LIKE GR ARE SOMETHING
:emlaugh:

Do you know which version Auburn played?I'm serious. I mean we know a little history about the song. There have been about 16 different recordings of the song. Some pop, some jazz ensemble, etc. I am really ignorant of the 2001 version. Perhaps there is some hook, drum break - something - that easily distinguishes it from the 1974 (I think) version by Labelle. If so - and Auburn used that - then you were exactly right in your original premise.
I ain't frontin'. I really would like to know.
Do you know which version Auburn played?
I have no clue. I didn't hear it. All I know from the bits and pieces of the 2001 version that I have heard is that the basis of the song did not change. I hope they did something to it to make it more date specific than dress more provocatively for the video.
Of course, back in the day, Labelle's costuming was considered to be provocative.
Why are you doing this DaCon?
