Atlanta Braves are moving

Cobb Commissioners approve Braves stadium deal

The winners for the new Falcon stadium are Arthur Blank and the Falcons. The winner for the new Braves stadium is the bank account of the Atlanta Braves. The losers will be those driving up I-75 during the afternoon rush hour in Cobb County. (Trust me. The traffic's bad.) I will laugh. I wonder what the Cobb County GOP head is saying (column).

Traffic won't be any worse than it is on the downtown connector during rush hour trying to get to a game at Turner Field. It sucks either way.

that is what I thought

Re: Cobb Commissioners approve Braves stadium deal

I rarely go to Cobb; so I am not concerned. I-75 north during the Cobb rush hour is a nightmare. I remember driving on I-75 south on a Friday night and seeing how heavy the traffic was on the northbound side at 9 PM. After the stadium is built, I wonder what the head of Cobb County GOP will say then.

Let them have the stadium and the traffic.

Re: Cobb Commissioners approve Braves stadium deal

1-75 North traffic is HORRIBLE in the afternoon.... Im usually on 175S at that time and I just look on the other side and smile lol.

Re: Cobb Commissioners approve Braves stadium deal

They are moving near my job. I will work from home on Braves home games.
