ASU Lead Turkey Day Series

That information above is totally false. BTW, you should add the five victories you all won when you did not play Tuskegee (1971, 1986, 1987, 1991 and 1992). Your Turkey Day Classic record against Tuskegee is 42-30-3 (Tuskegee leading) and your Turkey Day Classic record against all opponents is 35-42-3. Eighty (80) Turkey Day Classics have been played. Check the Office of Sports Information at ASU and the Turkey Day Classic game programs. The above figures will verified by both. If you want to bet, hit me immediatley. This sports historian is ready with the facts. I have been told by many individuals that ASU will take credits for games they have lost.

It's going to be special alright! ASU will score early and often. Another fact has to do with Skegee inflating their home attendance in football. Skeege will tell you that 30,000 fans shows up at their Homecoming in a 10,000 seat stadium. If they truly believe that, then 50,000 must show up at ASU's Homecoming in Cramton Bowl. They have miscalculated, overexaggerated and overestimated their numbers for years and for years to come.

I have said the same thing for years.....

What Skegee does with their attendance has nothing to do with the price of tea in China nor their success against ASU on the gridiron.

Bama State better take care of business.

Isnt Tuskegee a D2 school
Why are you bragging on leading the series with a D2 team?
Truly smalltime.

GR,

The problem is that ASU does not lead the overall series. TU leads the series by a large margin. TU leads TDC series with ASU 42-30-3. TU leads overall 54-32-4.

Apparently ASU folks think the same caliber of TU team they played last year is coming this year. They will be in for a rude awakening when the Golden Tigers hit the field. They were talking this mess in 2001 when they had Kennedy and got beat by TU AGAIN.

One prediction ASU. Your secondary is weak. I've seen it in person. TU is going to torch your secondary. It won't be pretty.

Aren't we putting the cart before the horse? This Hornet fan is concerned about Valley and not Tuskegee. I saw the Golden Tigers play their first game. They are much improve from last year and yes they lead the overall series. Save the smack for next week.

Shelt,

Its gonna be REAL HARD for your QB to complete a pass while lying on his arse.

Clark-Atlanta lit your sorry arse defense up for 35 points ! ! ! And as I told you before, this is not the same caliber HORNET team that dropped 48 points on you last year, it's much better.

But as JC stated, we have other business to attend to right now. We'll deal with you clowns later.

That game alone had me doubting TU as being REAL. You just dont BARELY beat CAU.... but they have some impressive victories also. I guess the verdict is still out on TU being for real or just playing sorry teams. This should be a great game, but I think it will get ugly for TU... I dont think they have seen the firepower they will be going up against playing the Hornets. The Hornets MIRROR Auburn to me.... except AU's defense is better.... Offensively AU and Bama St are VERY SIMILIAR.... a good quarterback and 2 great running backs.... and a VERY TALL receiver.

To echo the sentiments of DaHill, A very tall 6-6 receiver, Lorenzo Hoffman, who is from where? Tuskegee of all places!

Unless ASU runs the same option offense as CAU then what we did against CAU is irrelevant. You can't take what a team did against another team in one game and use it as a barometer for what that team will do in another game against a totally different team. You guys ought to have watched enough football to know that by now. Case in point:

KSU whipped CAU earlier in the year 37-9. Later on TU beats CAU 38-35. The next week after that TU has to play KSU. By you guys' logic KSU's offense should have an easy time with TU. What happens the next week? TU blasts KSU 41-15. With the back up QB throwing for 300 yards, and the 3rd string RB running for over 100, and the TU secondary picking off 4 passes. CAU runs a totally different offense than KSU (CAU runs a totally differet offense thatn everybody in the SIAC). You never know what's going to happen from week to week. Does that mean we're gonna blow out ASU? No. It also doesn't indicate anything about what ASU is gonna do against TU. Sorry.

Oh yeah Duece speaking of QBs lying on his arse, that's what I expect the ASU QB to be doing all game. TU loves to come after the QB. Please continue to pin your hopes on what we did against Clark.

Man, Tuskegee is slappin the taste from the HOnets mouths.

Mighty Hater, how you let a D2 school come up in here weeks before your annual butt whooping and punk you?

I blame you for this.

Shelt,

Go back and read your own dayum post on this thread where you stated that "you had seen our secondary", and that 'Skegee would torch us.

Is this not taking "what a team did against another team" and using it as "a barometer for what that team will do in another game against a totally different team"?

Oh yeah, keep pinning YOUR HOPES on what some other team did against Bama State.

Using that kind of logic.....since Pine Bluff manhandled A&M by 14 pts, and y'all squeaked by A&M (only 4 pts), Pine Bluff should be looking at a win when y'all meet up... :jump: :jump:

Jam Piper Jam, Pine Bluff got manhandled by Jsue, who's coach is James Bell (sad but true). Back to the topic, both team are certainly improved from last year, but the results from last year will be the same.

Duece,

Don't get so emotional. Sheesh. Why didn't you use the games where our "sorry arse defense" held opponents to scores like 0, 2, 9, 8, 15 points. Your own coaches have talked about your secondary. ASU defense has improved as the year goes on but your secondary is still your weak link.

Your team has improved. My team has improved too. Who has improved more will be seen on Thanksgiving.
