Ark-Pine Bluff vs Mississippi Valley State: Game Updates - 2:00pm CT

We are still poo on the DL so as long as a team has an effective running game, it will be an Achilles heel. UAPB was gashing us with their running game all day. Coach Dancy made the right move by keeping Bryant in the game and giving PB a dose of their own medicine with the RPO in the 2nd half and the defense made enough stops to get us back in the game. Chambers and Bryant killed them in the 2nd half and OT

When the PB kicked boinked the XP in the 2nd OT, I knew we would win the game as long as we scored and we did

I still remember watching our game against Valley back in 2014. We won the game but I vividly remember how we struggled so badly against them (no offense to MVSU). I especially remember the 2015 game at Rice-Totten (because it was freezing cold); we struggled VERY BADLY against Valley and went into OT. 2016 Valley put 41 points on us and last season they got the win with 38 points on us. Our matchups are getting pretty intense, and this the first Valley game I can recall that went into double OT. Like PVAMU, this isn't the Valley team of yesteryear.

Congratulations Valley on the win; you so deserve it! Happy Homecoming, and please be safe! Father God, please bless my boys with a safe trip home to PB.

Is Betts still there?

He's at Coahoma (he originally committed to them before Valley offered him). For Dancy to let him walk means that they must have a lot of faith in Robinson (who hasn't played a down all season) and it seems like Johnson (the 3 star out of Memphis) will fall under that new redshirt rule as well. The current starting QB will probably be a WR or RB next year (since he signed as a WR)
