If there was adequate proof that it was safe, yes. Heck I get flu shot and a pneumonia shot each year.

I am sure most of us have that little scar on our left arm just below the shoulder....that is from the small pox vaccination. Growing up we got vaccinated for tetanus, measles and something else that escapes me at this moment. If you have ever traveled abroad you have been vaccinated. If you were in the military you got vaccinated (I am told).

I've never taken a shot for something that you can still catch after taking it.
Why take the shot then?

Yes, you have Fiyah...that is why you take the shot to immunize against catching it.
The flu shot don't immunize you from catching it. You can still catch it even if you take that shot.

We were just discussing this at work.
More importantly I believe that a lot of these parents are blaming vaccinations on their kids problems because they lack integrity. What I mean is some of these parents were drinking, smoking, using drugs, and taking medication that should not be taken while pregnant; then not telling the doctors the truth.
I think they are blaming it because they've changed the formula to these new vaccinations and it's causing problems for these kids.

I'm not buying it. I just don't believe a lot of these parents are telling the truth. My physician wrote a paper on the effects of children born with problems when fathers are on drugs etc.....basically what he was saying is that certain elements can pass through semen. Meaning that a man who is a drug addict etc...can be the reason the child has some disability. Heck people don't tell the truth about themselves when they go to the doctor so I know they are not going to discuss their past concerning their kids.

Vaccines do have side effects. All drugs in fact have possible side effects regardless of circumstances.
To cast that aside for the notion “it must be the druggy parents fault” is stooping to a whole new level of asshatery.
