Are you still shamed to buy condoms?

Okay, what is so embarassing about a MAN buying tampons or pads? Seems like y'all wouldn't mind, given what it could mean if you AIN'T buying them ...

That is to assume they are being purchased when they are needed. It pisses me off to have to buy while in need of anything. It is very inconvenient usually-pads, condoms, advil, you name it.... So, when I tend to buy, it would be prior to what you are refering to the conforting days. So, it doesn't cross the mind. I may even have some condoms on the roller with the pads. By the way, that combination use to really draw some strange facial expression on the face of the adult white check out women. Almost as though they were trying to figure out mentally if both were needed at the same time. Yet, no one ever inquired. :-)

PEACE!!!

Cheerleaders

The guy with the sweater tied around his waist looks like a cheeleader that was at Grambling back in the early 90's. I guess he must be a cheerleader coach at SU now.

PS: Vinita, aren't you a teacher? :lecture: how'd you find that needle in the hay stack?!!

I don't have a problem buying tampons and female products for family members, but I don't understand why yall don't buy them in bulk while you're out doing your shopping. I mean, after all these years shouldn't you know that you need them or will soon be needing them. Seriously, I used to get into it with the wife and daughter about this. There are 12 months to a year...by enuff for the year!

We are on the same page. I hate running out of anything that you know you need... it just don't make sense to me. Then you're in panic mode all because you didn't stack up.

Now a years worth, that might be a bit much. :-) But, I'm with you on the prepare in advance.

How many times have you had to have a condom and didn't have it when it was needed? How dumb did you feel driving to get some when you know you was all but there? Would things still be on when you got back? etc... etc...

Ladies, how did you feel? Still interested? Well, think about how we feel having to go get them when you need them, knowing you've been in the store a few times since the last time you needed them and didn't handle that business then.... :-)

That's it. It is a nautral thang. The waiting til you need it part is the part that works my nerves.

PEACE!!!

Another thing I hate, is how we will get off the topic on the boards.... :lecture:

but, for a moment, I'm going to contribute to the problem. ;)

Those gurls look great! They represent the image of SU. In addition, they are hella talented. They are not only the best HBCU squad, but they bring natural smoke at the NCAA competitions.

Looking at the picture of them just standing and posing. Agree with the post a couple of months ago regarding my cheerleading post. It something like being soft or something. How can a man not be impressed with beautiful, talented, fine, flexible black women?

Alright, GET BACK ON THE TOPIC!!! :lecture:

PEACE!!

The only time I got embarrassed is the first time I bought some from a store that had them locked up and you had to ask for someone to unlocked the cabinet. Being a woman they looked at me funny for wanting to buy condoms. It doesn't bother me now, when it's a guy I start asking questions and they start to get embarrassed about talking to me about them, that's when it gets real funny.

You sound like you were in a small town. I'm from a small town and that was the challenge for me in high school. I had to get them through an older friend.

Peace!!!

Yes, he was a cheerleader at GSU in the 90s. He is a graduate of GSU. He is now the cheerleader coach at SU. He is 100% male, masculine, hetero.
