I really can not say that the refs cheat for Southern, I would simply say the refs are not in the best position to make the best call. The touchdown called against Grambling going into halftime from my first view point was a touchdown; however, the replay did not coincide with the touchdown called by the official. Was it cheating or was the ref in a position to make the right call?

One for JROCK, I will not not allow officials to think that as a fan I don't know what I am looking at. It is a mind set, that fans have no knowledge of what we are watching. These guys not only owe it to the players to call a fair game, but to those of us who watch them work. Just because coaches get fined for disagreeing with how games are called, as a fan we must demand these guys do what is right.
1979, officials don't get out of position. It is more of an area thing now days. This is my area things must be discarded. However, even if another official saw what happened they will not throw a flag because they don't want to offend the guy they are working with. On any given play you have atleast two officials that box in the play to make the right call. But all the bad calls or no calls come from the offical who is not the area official.
As one official said I have been calling for over twenty years and I know what I am doing. This is the mind set.

i am ready for the season to start...it will be like much of last year i believe with one of the BAMA schools or even ALCORN going to the SCG to play SU or yeah even GRAM! PV, TSU, and UAPB will cry foul and compete for third place in the WEST and JSU will edge VALLEY for the last place spot in the east! lets be honest with ourselves we know who is rebuilding and who has been rebuilding for years..hope if you plan on going to the SCG with your team, you hope on winning it!
