Are HBCUs missing the ball when it comes to recruiting top talent?

Isn't Ole J.J. building a $4 billion dollar complex that would include facilities for the high schools in Arlington???

In Frisco that's one thing I'll admit is that the facilities down here are killing it but compared to Florida, Louisiana and Texas is behind.

What Bewilde doesn't realize, all that glitz and glamour are making those kids soft in Texas. Those kids don't know what it is like to play in unfavorable conditions (rain, sleet, snow, hot and cold weather). I guess that's why when they get recruited up north to one of those so-called powerhouse schools, they can't play as well in the cold weather.

Hell Ohio St had that Sr QB from St. James locked up until LSU flipped his commitment. They may still end up getting him because he fit's their system better than LSU. I can't think of his name but he's the number one dual threat in the Nation and just competed at the Elite 11.

The Narcisse kid? The QB.

Hell my sister-in-law cousin at Plaquemine is one of the nation's top-rated DBs.

Not that I'm aware of.

:)

Making those kids out of marshmallow men. Instead of heading up north to play ball for those so-called powerhouses, they need to head east to Sweet Atlanta. LOL!!!

The partnership with the Cowboys couldn't have come at a better time for the Frisco Independent School District. The growing district opened its eighth high school last year and needed a third stadium to accommodate its football teams, which will get to play at The Star on Thursday and Friday nights. Teaming up with the Cowboys on the indoor stadium allowed the city to save about $500,000 a year in operating costs and between $10 million and $15 million in capital costs.

Frisco ISD also recently agreed to a multiyear, $1.74 million deal that will make Nike the sole uniform and equipment provider for all of its schools. Nike will have a branded gear shop and a track adjacent to the fitness center at The Star.

"It joins at the hip Friday night lights and the Dallas Cowboys," Jones said of the facility. "Literally, the quarterback at Frisco High School could be visiting with Tony Romo or Jason Witten or Dez Bryant as they're walking off the practice field and he's getting ready for a ballgame."

This is a rare scene in Texas these days. Why do the death crawl when kids in Texas have nice high-tech machines to get them ready???

Texas athletes for the most part are soft as hell. It's no secret. UT send help lmao. Louisiana athletes have that dog in them.

lol I seriously doubt that but it's all of you la ppl's right to have that great imagination that convinces you otherwise. You will see (again) this fall. :) lol@ chihuauas that cannot spell "dog" correctly yet alone play a preferred brand of football in those raggedy venues w/ subpar coaching. Please. lol

That tx intimidation rears yet again. Bow down, as you should :D .

And climate control practice facilities. Those wussies are going to die in the real elements.

A Texas kid getting ready for a big game. And I know it's a Texas kids from the watch he's wearing.

Bewilde is full of poopookaka. He comes from a school that stays in Louisiana looking for players, coaches, trainers, band directors, cheerleaders, or whatever they can get to give them a chance to compete. His school knows that Texas kids are soft.

In the meantime Texas A&M just got a commit from a Jennings, LA RB that runs a 4.3 in the 40.
No one else in tx can run a 4.3 40 and PV isn't aTm. :insert retarded smiley: That Jennings kid will be an ag major instantly btw lololol....lol

No one said that but you act as if there are no dummy athletes in Texas. :insert mentally challenged Texan smiley:

Blah blah blah blahhhhhhhhhhh could not run or catch w/out kids from here motorgrading the way. Where you all are from, you believe a team is one person. Where us normal folx originate, we understand it takes all 11 doing their job. lol @ "best player from lousyana." Please. Half of you posting here are even supporting our efforts for dominance.

Just because you build a smallish Swac stadium, don't make you the chosen one. 1 football championship the last 50 years between both Texas schools lmao. GTFO

W/out cheating mind you and not having 1.70 gpa'd alleged grads on the roster, like you all. I'd rather us have that 1 the right way rather than cheating and then po' mouthing the ncaa begging for mercy since some decided to accept $$$ to falsify govt documents and THEN god forbid simply give a few an unearned diploma w/ a state/university seal. How long have you all felt the need to cheat and then suck the ncaa's cojones begging for mercy?

Our stuff is good for us and satisfies our needs AND it's too good for some of your ghetto campuses lol. [loaded pun] Yah, we are that chosen one because we started this and ironically, it's all about to return home where it started. Tell Duer his corner offc awaits...on campus :D .

*crickets*
