A woman with too much time on her hand. She is thinking to hard about hair.

Yea...pretty much. A minute into that it was clear she only has a general idea of what she's talking about. Instead of 7+mins worth.

And...I agree with everything positive she said about brothas that like the natural look....

Yep- 7 minutes of rambling.

But I got what she was saying and I can relate; I don't have a perm, but I do wear it straight; but when I was wearing my twists and my fro, I did notice that I would attract certain type of guys as well. The dred wearing, deep-in-thought, 5% type dudes. :noidea:

I didn't pass minute 2 but I do get what she is saying. I have had locs for about 5 years and been natural for 8 and I do then to attract certain type of men. About 3 years ago my friend gave me a makeover and put a long straight weave over my locs and there was a clear difference in the dudes that would come up to me with the straight hair then with the locs.

:topic:

I will say I get more comments on how pretty my locs are from white and Hispanic men then I do from black men. :retard:

what was the difference?

With my locs I get alot of "oil wearing, weed smoking, reggae loving island, baby girl let's listen to spoken word while we get deeper in our connection type men"

Which is funny since that is not the type of men that I am into.

I like women with fro's but I am not into the dreads. I love naturally long, healthy, jet black hair the most.

I think overall, as long as you put some effort into your hair, I am fine. The one thing I can't stand is dark skinned chicks with blonde hair. I just feel like that is some form of self-hatred...

Not surprised by the comment in BOLD, at all.

I like women with any kind of hair. If she got a nice azz, cool attitude and can adjust/fit it in any situation we cool.
