Any pet owners in the house?

Sounds about right. LMAO! When they don't wanna' be bothered w/ you, they're QUICK to turn their back and walk away as to say "F U!" :emlaugh: Almost forgot about that.

These young'ins are a trip. Reminds me of kids. :) While younger, they all up on ya' and can't wait to c'ya etc. But, when they get older, they start resisting and giving attitude. (especially when they recognize the scent of the vets office LMAO!)
 



Panthro, my folks have a black chow chow. He is very loyal, very smart, and very protective.

Very good breed of dog. I love'em and swear by them. Just hate that they have to deal w/ the hot summers/springs/falls we have here. :)

They dooooooooooooo love them some cold air though. Those others I had would darn near bust the door down tryna' get inside to get out the 95+ degree heat. :lol:

What a beautiful puppy!!! I have a 5-year old black cat with gray-green eyes - he is my sweet potato!
 
I am taking care of my nephew's 4 month old kitten. Cats are real easy to house train. Although I have to roll up a newspaper to tap her on the hind legs to stop her from jumping up on tables. Right before I tap her I tell her "NO". She is good at word association now. :lol:
Cat's and dogs hate the sound of newspapers when you tap them.

Panthro your puppy chow is beautiful. I've had one just like yours for 14 years before it passed away. I miss "Cleo". Man when it ever snows,she would go biserk. If it was more than 1 inche on the ground she would lay down on her back in wallow in it.

Good luck with the chows. Not my favorite breed. Had to put too many puppies through "submissive" exercises at 6 weeks. Plus muzzle, choke, rabies stick them to work on them. And seen the effects of that "family pet" turning on the owner. I give them much respect and pick up a long stick whenever I see one walking unrestrained. Chows and Rottweilers are the most psycho dogs I've have ever treated. :shame:
