GR just got off the phone with Asberry. It appears that Shaw is anxious to join the SWAC. In theory, they are the SWAC football Champs of 2004. Now they would like to defend their title.

Dude, I'm trying to help you all stay in the SWAC. Now a-days people want more than just your plain chicken and pound cake. You all may have to switch it up. Try spicy chicken with MD's confused cake or chicken tenders with your "tickle me pink" cake.

I mean foresight is truly a blessing. It was just year before last you all were talking about "Saving the SWAC" and now 2 years later you all are actually implementing your plans by moving back down to D2. You all should be given an award for this. You are actually following Birmingham-Southern's implementation plan.
