I am the sponsor of a group of 6th grade girls at my school. They primarily do community service projects ... once or more a month as a group, and twice a year individually. This month, they decided to pick a name from an angel tree and buy gifts for a child less fortunate.

Wouldn't you know the name we picked was JORDAN, and as far as a wish list, he/she put ANYTHING. We don't know if Jordan is a boy or a girl, although we do know that he/she is 10. Now we don't know what to get. What are some good, unisex gifts that these girls might give to this kid?

A great unisex gift is a VHS tape, but only if they have a VCR. You could choose one of the popular kids movies out on tape now like Spy Kids, Resuce School's Out. And if the child doesn't have a VCR, another good choice is a board game, like Yahtzee, Monopoly, Scrabble, Boogle. They make the "Jr." version of all those games and they are fun.
