It's coming. LOL. Just a matter of time before they start winning against teams in the South. The next move is hiring away somebody with a big NAME. No different than those SEC schools. Things will change once St Nick aint at Bama or Les at LSU. They can't coach forever. But Nike money going to keep getting larger for Oregon.

Yep. The scary thing is the next big pile of money is going to be for a big name football coach. That's all they need now. If this new guy don't work out. It is going to be interesting to see WHO is willing to go coach with all those amenities. LOL.

I cant see too many big name coaches turning down that job once its available...if HBCUs could just a quarter of what Oregon has we would be on to something...some of our schools Game Fields dont compare to their practice field...

I know I don't make sense most of the time to you all and I may not make sense BUT for HBCUs and HBCU atletics to move forward, there needs to be some sort of major revenue stream and maybe we need to set aside our pride and let 4-5 HBCUs be the standard. College athletics is a business. Black athletes is business and black money keeps people in business. All we need are the right people to turn this thing around. If we can get black athletes, black actors, rappers, and entrepreneurs to back 4-5 HBCUs, we would be on our way to breaking into the mainstream. But you would need a "CEO" of those 4-5 schools to organize everything properly and one or two VERY influential people to get on board with the plan to get it all started. Some one like Jay-Z is not connected to ANY HBCU and we see how much Dr. Dre gave USC and he got one of his buddies to chip in with him. That was like $70M from two people. Imagine how much we could get from 40-50 rich mofos.

In fact, fugg it.. I say let's get Beyonce for halftime in Houston this year. Let's get it started NOW! :lol:
