Americas 25 Most Dangerous NEIGHBORHOODS

GOAT FARM!
Check out the addresses near you and tell if the dangerous/violent label is true or not.
None in Jackson is on the list but I can name a couple of streets/neighborhoods here that I would not drive through at 100 mph, 12 noon with the doors locked and windows rolled up. :lol:

America's 25 Most Dangerous Neighborhoods

Where in America are people most likely to be murdered, raped, robbed or have their car stolen?

A new list, based on police reports, says that one neighborhood – around West Lake Street -- is the most dangerous in America, but also notes that Atlanta is home to four of the 25 worst neighborhoods.
Other hot spots include parts of Las Vegas, Cleveland and Memphis, Tenn.
So why look at neighborhoods and not cities? Well, even the cities with the highest crime rates can have relatively safe neighborhoods, making it less useful to generalize about an entire city.

Is Georgetown one of them?

Dang Atlanta made the list FOUR times lol... looks like the Bluff & Summer Hill area. Cant really disagree with that too much but I STILL say when it comes to lists like these people sleep on Birmingham more than any other city. Also keep in mind it says most dangerous NEIGHBORHOODS not cities.

Am I missing something here?

Damn, Atlanta is all over the report.
Look like Memphis, Las vegas, and Chicago is dead on Atlantas heels. I knew that Memphis would be included cause them fools are str8 crazy. Them "folks" got the Delta all the way up I-55 to Chicago locked down.

Marrietta runs all the way to bankhead. Also I think folks sleep on Atlanta. I hear my brothers who are both police officers say this all the time. They say that so many people get caught slipping in Atlanta because they think it is a nice city, but they forget Atlanta is spread out. Ain't no projects any more so they all over the place. They both say they get tired of writing reports for folks who they thought stuff like this didn't happen in Atlanta.

yeah, I knew about those three cities, but I didn't realize ATL was that bad.

shucks, I guess you're right Cee. I had no idea...:eek:

I take stuff like this with a grain of salt. Actually, looking at what they list for Atlanta, I'll go farther and say this stuff is severely flawed. Somebody from here, tell me what part of Marietta Street (CNN Center, Centennial Park and the revitalized area and there is not much out by where Body Tap used to be) is soooooo dangerous that it would rank among the most dangerous not only in Atlanta, but in the country. That's laughable.
According to this, Marietta Street is supposedly more dangerous than English Avenue or James P Brawley or Boulevard.......:retard::retard:

I was thinking the same thang. :lol:

And I used to stay on Carter Street. According to this study, that's THE most dangerous street in Atlanta.
:lol::lol::lol::lol:

I'm from the mean and dangerous Carter Street!!!!! :uzi::uzi:

Please believe they are giving New Orleans a huge break...

Actually the city New Orleans ain't dangerous at all...

It's the "neighborhoods" that gives New Orleans a bad name...

I was thinking the same thing B'ham hoods are off the damn chain

Thank you! I can tell you some places down in Clayton County that is more dangerous than Marietta Street.

I mean, they could have named "Moreland Ave" over near the Federal Prison where Thomasville Heights (use to be) and 4 Seasons are as a more dangerous area than Marietta Street.

LOL!!!!!!! Marietta street? LOL!!!!!!!

Man, they could have put Jonesboro Road over near Jonesboro South on there before Marietta Street. LOL!!!!!!!!

:lol::lol:
Well, they've torn Thomasville down, but the 4 seasons is still there. And it still seems to be the same (I think it has another name now, but folks still call it 4 seasons and its still the same. :lol: And that other lil trap across the street from Thomasville is still there too. But according to this survey, it aint got nothing on Marietta Street. :lol::lol:

LOL!!!!! Right! Marietta Street is the new "Bankhead" & "Hollywood Road/Court" area. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean, there's places on Gresham Road that's tougher than Marietta St.

Who does these surveys?

I just dont get a HOOD vibe nowhere in Atlanta.... and yes Cee Dog, Ive been to Bankhead... Ive lived off Ashby for a year... Birmingham is WAYYYY more hood than Atlanta. Getting off on the Ensley exit in Birmingham, it looks like a 3rd world country..... not to even mention West End, Pratt City, etc.
