From what I understand, our alumni president made the administration and the AD aware of his comments beforehand so they couldn't say they would be blindsided by them.

College athletics is close to a $5 million business annually at Texas Southern and MUST be handled as one. Hell, if they hired my dad as the next AD and he's not getting the job done.... I'd have to help him pack his stuff up. That simple.

Yeah, Chris didn't run from the report and say nothing, while creaming for the coach's ouster behind his back. Just because he got a free plane ride to and from games. That ain't Chris's style.

Hey GUD, I'd like to meet that Chris Leblanc guy, too. I bet he's a better guy than C-Leb, who's a great guy himself. C-Leb had a pint of Kettle One (vodka) waiting on Robber at the JSU-TSU game. I figure Chris Leblanc woulda been good for fif. :lol:

I drink it too.. I was in Miami about 5 years ago when I got put on it... At the time they didn't serve Goose in that part of Coconut Grove. C-leb you got to expand your horizon... Half pints of Aristocrat in your back pocket is the sign of a wine-o.

I'll apply for AD at TSU....if I shake three hands and get one big corporate sponsor I can retire as a young man......I did 100% more than my predecessor...

seriously though.......Blackwell is the longest tenured AD in the SWAC somehow....he needs to write a book on how to stay at TSU forever because they've got rid of legitimate ADs for nothing....

Chris has been a strong advocate for a better TSU as a student, during his presidency, and will be after his presidency. Alumni appreciates his hard work and we support his comments in the published article.
