Correction, 2 losses in the SWAC west puts you out just like we are out, but if our teams were in the East we would still have a shot :lol:

That part I can agree on. Since our conference has not been sending a bunch of players to NFL like we used to, he probably did think there was no teaching going on.

Dude I ain't a Jones fan, but he has won. It is not AAMU fault if JSU and the so called other two don't have winning seasons. Football is a game played on the field, you line up and sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. JSU has just lost allot in the last 10 years. Allot of loses.

Dude, in the last 10 years, JSU only has a losing record to Grambling and to AlaState and we are gonna correct that AlaState thing this year. I know that the standards for JSU is high but don't confuse the facts. It is shamful that we are 5-5 vs you in the last 10 years but in a week, that will change to 6-4. :D
 
Well him too, I never heard Anthony Jones talk shit in the media.Before we played them two weeks ago he kinda sound like Eddie Rob and was poor mouthin. Our offensive line needs work,our defense needs to be straighting out. But in the game them boys look like all-swac.

Looks like folks in and around SU, just like the people not associated with SU, needs to stop reading these blogs and articles.

This dude is a first year coach. If you, "honestly", bought into the 12-0 propaganda that he spat...then, that's on you and your grips with reality. I expect a coach to want to come in and run the table. But, you have to know just how improbable that is with a new philosophy.

And, the thing is...some of my fellow Nation are letting drunken monkeys come in and make certain things look more bleek than others.

Growing pains. We all have 'em. Esp, when there's a significant change.

This is what GR has been trying to tell them. After the next two weeks, its going to get ugly ESPECIALLY if they lose to Valley. Right now they expect to lose to JSU, but if they lose to Valley and get blowed out by JSU things are going to get out of hand on the bluff
 
There is no way that someone like Stump would even be mentioned as being the coach at Grambling!!!...lol
 
If these guys had any self pride and cared about the season.....then they wouldn't be at the the pep rally on the news dancing like they 5-0....Like they didnt get smashed at home the last two home games....like JSU isn't going to beat the breaks off em....Like they will not lose another classic....Man...I'm tired....

They can "Dougie" but can't catch a pass...They can Jigg but can't run tackle nobody...Call Marino...maybe he"ll come back....

I will brag for him, he won a title in 06 the year before your program did. He has one title like your program has one since 1999. Just stating facts. For a team that is told we are not on your level it is a good start.

You "shole" is right. AAMU has been more successful than any program in the eastern division since the SCG was established (1999).........Period

I'm sure you'd love for history to end at 1999, but unfortunately for most SWAC schools that don't have a real history before '99, it just don't work like that....period.

Yeah I understand the growing pains with a new system in place an all but I really didn't expect us to be (1-3) didn't really expect the us to go 12-0 either!!! But it is what it is!!! Like I said earlier I am just looking for a winning record. They show glimpses of being a good team but they r alot of things they need to work on!!! All we need to do is win!!!! an all will be forgotten

And this is the typical Jag's response. Not smacking, but truth. I think every Jag is having these thoughts. Now, picture last year around this time, was Jag's having thoughts of "Maybe's" against Valley? There is something wrong with this picture. And JR talks about how Bell ruined Kent's career by changing the system, but Sweet Lenny has done the same for some of these guys. True, you may not have a "Kent" and Company on the team, but he totally changed the whole system (like Bell did) instead of installing it in phases so the kids can easy into it. And you all are seeing the results.

I think the coaching staff realized that they did install a new system too fast. But if I'm not mistaken one of the coaches mention something about making the playbook little easier for the players to pick up. Don't quote me on that. But I think it was mentioned in the paper.

AAMU have been running the Eastern Division for 11 years now. You people are coming off of a 3-7 season to boot. If you ask me, Rick Comedy is no smarter than Lyvonia Mitchell. :lol: :emlaugh:

I totally disagree. JSU had 4 losing seasons and 3 SCG trips since 1999. We lead AAMU head to head 6-5. JSU is 33% on SCG visits and AAMU is 25%. AAMU will certainly lose to us this year...making that series lead 7-5. Then we go to Bham and win, they will be put back into their place until we wear them out on their homecoming next year. They have beat us when we were 2-10, 4-7, 2-9, 5-5, and 3-7. **** and Woody are gone. It's back to Hughes-type dominance over them!

AAMU has only been to Bham 4 times and the first two times, they went despited NEVER beating JSU or Grambling. The 7-game format sent their azzez to Bham.
