Alcorn has been one of the teams that Barlow has owned since he's been at ASU. I don't see them being able to run on us. They'll have to beat us with the passing game. We did a good job of not giving Cyrus that many carries last night and saving him for this Thursday. He and Thomas will should be able to make plays. Our QB play will have to be at it's best.

What were you saying? Mississippi schools just continue to be a thorn (no pun intended) in Bama State's back.

If the Hornets would have left at halftime that ass kicking would not have been as bad. There has been a warrant issued for the arrest of the Braves football team for assault and battery with intent to do bodily harm. Word is that they removed the stingers and stuck some tomahawks up the hornets ass. :smash:

I find it ironic that Alabama State/Alcorn game score is almost similar to the UAPB/Alabama State game.


Serious questions:


Hornets alum, what do you think should have been done to turn the game around to Alabama State's advantage? Do you all see this as a wake up call or a sign of what's to come?

Lioness, we needed more time to prepare for this game. We are a tired and beat up team. We could not match Alcorn intensity. The Hornets will regroup.

Congrats to Alcorn on a well played and dominant performance. Taking nothing away from Anderson but Gibbs may be the best QB in the SWAC.
