They might as well put in a application for the SWAC, they not anything but JSU south Campus now..... Mississippi Black kids have flooded that school and they don't give back

Very proud of the braves, not the outcome we wanted buh i feel we oUt played USM in every phase excepte the score... Im ready to see How the braves do In confrence... Hold your heads high Alcorn you made us very proud

Explain that, please. Black people, in general, don't give back to our schools and communities.
 
I was at the game. I can say we still had a chance to win the game at the end but didn't take care of business. I must say that my 29 years on this earth I have never in my life seen this much cheating at a game. Todd Monkin need to send his check to the referees because they saved his job. Them USM folks was talking in the stands and it was not good. They know they should have lost that game by atleast 2 TD. Now USM had a decent defense but there offense wasn't anything to brag about. If USM OC has a job after this season I know something. We was about to go ahead 7-3 in the first quarter on them and they called the TD back for sideline interference. The offense missed 2 many oppertunities.

Thanks for sharing this insight from the game experience. I don't USM will be calling any more HBCU again for a while. And yea, I think they called Hopson up to say this was an on-the-job interview. Would he flake on Alcorn or try to establish something?
 
Yes, there was so much cheating by those refs, but I was mentally prepared for it. I feel good just knowing that THEY know we were not to be taken lightly.... I am disappointed that we didn't pull off a win, but I'm at peace knowing we didn't embarrass ourselves or the SWAC Conference... The Braves got wit'em!
 
Braves won this game. I've never been to a game were the cheating was so blatant. Sideline interference..are you kidding. Even the USM faithul stated we won the game. Not once would they show the instant replay of the USM player who supposedly caught the TD. Those refs need to be suspended. Alcorn played this game..Yeah we had sum turnovers but you can't beat the team and the refs.
 
Im very proud of our men on the Alcorn football team. They played their hearts out through it all. Even though the refs were terrible, had we not had some miscues, we still would've won that game. Refs would make a call and meet almost 5 minutes before deciding what to call. Flags were coming from everywhere. USM was holding so much, it was crazy. If I was a usm football player, I couldn't accept that win as man or even talk ish cause in their heart they know they actually lost that game. An USM football alum was sitting by me and said himself he was embarrassed and it was sad. Ive seen some bad refs, but nothing like I saw last night!
 
I'm proud of y'all...real talk. Y'all won, forget the scoreboard. Y'all should have ran out on the field and celebrated. Sometimes the scoreboard doesn't tell the whole story!
