Alcorn State vs. North Carolina A&T: Game Updates





Just got back from the game, that performance by alcorn was horrindus. Alcorn couldn't stop their running game to save their life. Donald Carrie would not harldy throw the ball. If we would have played A&T like we played Grambling, we would have blown those folks out. Not to mention all those fumbles. The band could not even get the football team up for the game because of some stupid MEAC rule.
 
What MEAC rule?!?! The game was called by SWAC officials!! The A&T announcers said that it was an all SWAC crew doing the game.
 
Our band directors was about to get fined $500 each for playing while we had the ball. We could only play during someones timeout, or at the end of the quarter.
 
So, our band couldn't play while Alcorn had the ball? What type of mess is that? I think the SWAC rule is that you can't play when the opposing team has the ball or when the teams are right in front of you.
How are they going to fine a SWAC school when the game is at the SWAC school AND with a SWAC officiating crew? Something's not right with that. Are you sure that's a MEAC rule? That sounds like something that somebody made up.
 
It was terrible, but we still got that camelion off. But the offense needs to go to drawing board. The defense needs to learn how to stop the run. I would be a bit surprised if they don't have over 300 rushing yards on us.
 
You have to give the defense some credit. They did manage to keep A&T out of the endzone all those times they got inside 5.
