Alcorn State vs Jackson State: Game Updates

True..at the end of the game it's a W or a L, but JSU....y'all couldn't put any more up...can't hang with that Alcorn d huh? LOL!

I still believe there is hope for Alcorn...they all got a taste of it under Jones...they will be something to see next yr, IMO!
 



Comegy and staff was playing second, third, and fourth string players in the third quarter :noidea: Why, I don't know because Ernest T. and Alcorn kept playing and played their way back into the game. As Coach Herm says "You play to win the game." You don't rest players in the third quarter of a big rivalry. You play the first string until maybe five minutes to go and three TDs up. We had guys in the game that I haven't seen in several weeks.

but your second and third teamers would be starters at other SWAC schools right?

jsu is Sorry guys. I am really surprised. This is the 1st time I've seen them play and they do not look like a REAL championship team. If this was the old jsu they would've put up 50 pts in this game...instead they almost LOST.

I am in amazement.

Alcorn is bad...very bad on offense yet they still almost won this game.

If We can get some wrs we will destroy jsu next year. I really can't believe we even had a chance in this game. I've lost alot of respect I had for the jsu football program.


Man if this is the best the SWAC East has...we suck as a division really bad.

1. Colder than normal weather in Jackson
2. Day Game
3. If they said it was 33k then it was actually around 40-45k. Another miscount.
Obviously it was more than 42-43K on Oct 4.
4. Folks saving up for B-ham trip and Christmas.
5. Folks were still outside the stadium tailgating.


I think that will sum up why it was only 33K.:D

Your offense only scored one TD to begin with, and that with our backup QB in the game whose not played that much. Celebrate a close win all you want, but ten years from now, JSU will have the "W" beside it's name and Alcorn, the "L".

Dude, go cry in your own pity. JSU could've easily won this game by four TD's, but Comegy took out the starters on offense and defense and let yall back in the game, plain and simple. Bottom line is, yall are a pathetic 2-10. Nobody needs your dayum respect any how. Can't believe this dude bragging on giving our third string players a run for their money.:smh:.

All these dayum Grambling folks on here hoping we had lost. Dude, there's no need for Comegy to play his starters and risk a season ending injury in a meaningful game, yet a meaningless game. Bottom line is, we got the win. Yall just worry bout the win against SU.:scared::scared:

that excuse would work on me if I didn't ATTEND the Game. You on here lying man. This is just a down year for the whole swac east division...I saw some bad football out there on both sides.

I really thought we were gonna get blown out. I haven't kept up with SWAC football after I saw the 1st Alcorn game vs GSU on TV. I knew we were bad then. But to lose in the last seconds to a jsu championship team?

Hope is restored at Alcorn IMO.

We not that far off from being decent in this division with some good recruiting.

I've seen good and great jsu Championship teams...this year is not a good one JayRob. Sorry...

and btw , yall score off an INT, an block punt, which it took yall four downs to score, in reality, alcorn only score 7 points, Tim buckley sucks just like the WR,yall was down 26-0 at one point, everybody including the football team was thinking, what club we going to tonight, hmmmmm either freelons or the QUE party. its a W and L column, not an almost win or next year victory column
 
its funny how , alcorn win 2 damn games, and yall talking about you see potential and next year is they year.SMH, alcorn was barely beating us when we had bell, alcorn is not gon beat jstate for the next 10 years
