Alcorn adds University of Houston Transfer QB to mix

True. But South Panola has gotten better. They catch a lot of flack but I think a lot of it is undeserved. Almost all of their regional/ national recruits have been eligible over the years. Staying there has been the problem for Nick Brassell and Chris Strong. But they have had a good track record as of late. Administration has made a good effort with the kids in Batesville, MS. And these young guys are growing up seeing all of these former Dandy Dozens and All-Staters from the 90s working at lumber mills and chicken plants......that's the biggest motivator of all.

Thats great to hear cause they have talent every year. North Panola has talent too but one does'nt hear much about them. JPS is loaded as well. I tell kids parents all the time once the spring comes, start working on your clearing house paper work. Stay on the counselor.

N. Panola is coming up, man. They have a Dandy Dozen this year. Those kids who live in the Sardis, Courtland and Pope communities are learning that they don't have to go over to Batesville to be successful. If they keep it up, they will take the "U" out of USP.

That's the reason the "U" is in USP...North Panola kids having been playing across the lines for years.
