Texas basically had to scrap their original plan once Colt got injured. There is no way they could do, or have the confidence to run that game plan with a true freshman quarterback in the national championship game.

You had really talented experienced guys on both teams out there super nervous when the game started. Imagine being a freshman quarterback not thinking you would ever get in the game and then being told within a blink of an eye, "Go get 'em son."

Man Texas want let this boy play. Make him grow up on the field. You have lost the game at this point anyway.
 
2nd string QB scared because he think Mac Brown gone send him to the infamous "Dark Room" like he did Colt 45 McCoy. Please Coach Brown don't loose your job like Tex. Tech coach. :emlaugh:

Lol. Texas never should have moved Chiles from Qb. Might need to let him play like Florida St did with Anquan Boldin in a Bowl game when they had no qb

As far as athletes, Boldin was probably the better quarterback.
 
'Bama does on occasion have a habit of giving up the big play like they just did. However, is offensive coordinator Greg Davis willing to take chances? He really does not have a choice.
 



The pass interference against Texas was less of one than one not called against 'Bama. Anyway, the Longhorn desperately need a stop.

Kid grew up in Southlake. It's only natural that he's a closet Longhorn. He's been point shaving the entire game. Trip thing, I haven't watched the game from the 1st qrtr going forward. I'm about to switch it over now and watch this. I have a lot of classmates who attended there and they're growling so something terrible is going on. :D
 
SMH @ these clowns have let Texas back in this game when it should be over. I guess they thought they could just run the ball for the rest of the game.
 
I just turned the tv on and watched Shipley get 3 catches and the last one for a TD. He's making the Bama DBs look steeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyupid! :retard: Bama needs to come west more often to recruit some REAL football players like McElroy. No Colter and leads only by 3. :retard: Okay. :emlaugh:
