I notice that Alabama State is winning championships in certain sports regularly. You all must have a great recruiting department and Athletic Director?

Track, softball, and baseballWhat sports are they doing this in?
They were doing it in track but that train has stopped over the last few years.
Track, softball, and baseball
Like I said, they haven't won in track lately, they didn't win in softball and this is their 1st win in baseball in a while also. So again when & where are all these championships at?
Southern University was SWAC Baseball Champs for the previous 2 seasons prior to this current one which was won by Alabama State. So your statement is not accurate in that Alabama State has not won championships on a regular basis in any sport of late.I notice that Alabama State is winning championships in certain sports regularly. To answer the question, Alabama State won like 5-6 Commissioner's Cups in a row because they won consistently in everything else except football and basketball (which they were still respectable). Prairie View has caught up with them as far as erasing the gap in T&F and other sports
PV won the Commissioner's Cup LAST YEAR (by 4.5 points over Bama State) - and will again this year. There was no Cup in the Covid year - before that Bama State won 6 years in a row, which is tied with Southern for the most consecutive years and they did it when it first started being handed out. Bama State track program - Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor has suffered this past year due partly to facilities undergoing a rebuild. If/once we can ever get football and men's basketball back to being competitive, the program should be great. And we still will finish in the top 3 this year. And Commissoner's Cup as they have won them the last few years also. They will also win the Cup this year.

First you said PV won them the last few years - 1 year does not equate to "last few", then you switch to say ASU won those years after PV won the years previous to that - switching the narrative. To make all of this worser is that you are now into FAMU territory claiming trophies when there were none to claim in the Covid year. PV gets credit for the couple of years prior to our 6. You will win this year and congrats on that one. You will not get credit for Covid year, do better. PV 3 < Bama State 6Yes, bama st won those years after PV won the years previous to that. We claim the Covid year as we were leading in points and would have won it outright. We won last year and like I said we will win it this year.
Ok, damn I was wrong MANE LOL. It just seems like every time I see an update Bama State is winning certain sports.Southern University was SWAC Baseball Champs for the previous 2 seasons prior to this current one which was won by Alabama State. Y’all haven’t won in baseball. This is just y’all’s 2nd championship.Dudes just hating bruh. You’re not wrong
The first one in 2016, the Hornets set a SWAC record by going undefeated in conference play and winning all their games in the tournament.Y’all haven’t won in baseball. This is just y’all’s 2nd championship.
Seems like the illegal teams of SU in the late 90s early 2000s have done the same thingThe first one in 2016, the Hornets set a SWAC record by going undefeated in conference play and winning all their games in the tournament.
But the question didn't specify baseball, he asked about championships in certain sports - and we have, hence the run of 6 Commish CupsY’all haven’t won in baseball. This is just y’all’s 2nd championship.
What illegal teams. What all know what the ncaa said about Texas Southern and their 20 plus years of cheating .Seems like the illegal teams of SU in the late 90s early 2000s have done the same thing
