Yep on 4th and 1 from the 10 and they stopped us. Should've gave that to Cross to run instead of Cyrus

What's the point of talking junk? I predicted 45-21 and was not far off.

It was what I expected. Kats are not 100% there yet! but nice to see us pile up 50. Maybe about 100 ASU fans in one little area tonight
 



Duhart, Cyrus, Hannah and Bell played well tonight. The defense got winded in the 2nd qtr and SHSU poured it on. Duhart only pick was a ball that hit the receiver in his hands and bounced up to the defender.
 
Where's Crowell when you need him? I betcha it's easier to find Crowell right now than finding MH.:lol:

Rolling up 685 offensive yards on 105 plays Saturday in Sam Houston’s 51-20 victory over Alabama State, the Bearkats set school records for most yards total offense and most plays.

The Kats rushed 57 times for 289 and completed 33 of 48 passes for 396 yards against the Hornets. The 685 yards eclipsed the old mark of 655 yards set against McNeese State in a Sam Houston victory in Huntsville during the 2004 Southland championship season.

SHSU’s 105 plays Saturday broke the record of 102 set versus Southeastern Louisiana in a home game in 2008.

The Bearkats tied the SHSU record for most first downs with 34 against Alabama State. The mark was first set against Texas State in a 2008 game at Bowers Stadium.

With Saturday’s record-breaking performance plus the yardage compiled in team’s opener at Eastern Washington a week ago, the Bearkats rank No. 3 in FCS total offense with 613.5 yards per game.

300 yards rushing? I guess yall DID do well against BamaStates defensive line. Oh well...did the BamaState defense show up at all? Looks like SHSU had their way with almost 700 yards offense. Perhaps BamaState just didn't understand what was going on since they do have academic issues
