Not defending Spears, but that's just how he coaches. He doesn't follow the "rules of the game" in terms of does and don'ts... Notice how he came out the second half passing on each down despite having the lead and the momentum. Then noticed how he decided to go for it on 4th down while leading on his side of the field. The man is unorthodox... he will soon be un "something else".

I'm an objective guy and I see the fallacy in this type of coaching. His azz is gonna get it now from those who never wanted him to begin with. Man STC is gonna be blogging his skinny azz off now!:splat: :splat: (ME TOO!)
 
sounds like he coaches like he's playing ncaa football on xbox. somebody tell him the people upstairs at grambling will take more than his $50... they'll take his job.
 
and I was thinking We lost all 3 games to the BEST of the SWAC :smh:

It was Homecoming... guess you guys should have scheduled us for HC :ebrow:

Seems TP was right about one thing...we have coaching issues. Our offense last year hid some defiencies and unsound play calling. Seems our coach is too stubborn to adapt his playcalling to his talent level. Plus you can't disrespect the game by being unsound in your play selections. Going for it on 4 & 9 from your own forty with the lead, early third quarter resulted in poor field position. We subsequently fumble at the one...they recover and score. Why not punt and make them drive the field? That's sound football... I like Spears but I hate unsound football.:kaioken:

No we fucced off the entire game. Everyone knows we're gonna come out passing...I like the talent in our passing game, but we do not utilize our running backs.
