Alabama State vs Arkansas-Pine Bluff: Game Updates





Just getting in from the game, PB has a very good offense. Their QB made a lot of plays with his arm and legs. PB's WRs dropped too many passes for them to win this game but I know they will beat alot of teams this year. Good Game, PB!

It was not the officials. PB made too many mistakes and dropped too many passes. Boudreaux is a player and very hard to contain.

And yes, there were too many dropped passes, but I do question that 2-point conversion; I thought one official said it was out......and I do question that fumble, where one official said recovery, but we were overruled on that one, too!

Thanks Lioness! Both plays were called correctly. PB players were cramping up and it was a factor in the game. Y'all going beats a lot of SWAC teams this year.

I give credit where credit is due........when it was announced Melvin Spears would head the Offensive plays, I knew Alabama State would definitely be a thorn to a lot in the SWAC this year. :D


Doggone strengthening/conditioning coach need to make them boys jog in place or stretch or something while our defense is on the field! :shame:
 
UAPB have a good team. The QB doesn't make many mistakes and that's what counts. It's also good that yall's band traveled this far. They put on a good show. I did meet some UAPB fans in Dreamland B-Que. I'm sure they had some fun in downtown. Live bands were performing out on the street late tonite.

Sounds like an exciting game for the fans... close/back and forth all game. Congrats to the Hornets on the win!

Both Josh (Boudreaux) and Rontrell (Bailey) were our QBs last year. It's funny........Bailey started for us last year, but it was Boudreaux who took the helm during midseason. Looking at them now, you'd think they were new players for us......our offense has improved! :clap: But our WRs.......and our star WR Raymond Webber (lil Webbie aka "Flight 86") is back, too! Those other WRs.....they couldn't catch worth a damn. Them jokahs couldn't catch a rash at a poison ivy convention!:upset::shame:
