These turnovers are going to get us beat. Maybe fatigue is starting to catch up to our team. This long weekend could not have come at a better time.
 



Total Beat down!!!! Alcorn should have won 50-0 even with the turnovers!!!!!! I told you all Alcorn would win and that Barlow always win 7 or 8+ games a season, but always loses the big game. Alcorn has much better coaching and ASU has talent, but no coaching!!!

People was calling out Alcorn WR's for holding but I disagree them boys straight up blocking lol.
 
Maybe the SWAC will wakeup once Alcorn become dominate in the conference. $200k plus is way too much money to spend on Black high schools coaches at best.
 
I said at the beginning... when HBCU's hire white coaches they win. Its happened too many times... basketball at FAMU and Hampton...... Multiple national championships with Robbins at Virginia Union (D2 CIAA) .....Young Blacks trust white coaches!

Yes… wayyy too much. I'm just glad to see Alcorn returning to SWAC prominence and domination. It's been a very long uphill battle, and there is still much room for improvement. But we are on our way.

I agree, I like what Fobbs is doing at Grambling thus far, but I wish we would've given him a smaller contract.

it's not about white or black, it's simply about coaching and recruiting, too often we settle for alums that played in the NFL instead of people with a good coaching resume outside of our own conference and BCF. We end up with a big name coach that can't coach a lick, but wins a few games on talent alone

I was referring to when Alcorn hired their coach.... you are correct though I didn't believe Alcorn would beat Bama State tonight. I felt like Alcorn was a year away from being "great" . Looks like I was wrong!
 
To all the Bama State fans who said we haven't played anyone you were so right we still haven't I guess you guys are more like sTu than Alcorn is. # The RealASU
