They really need to reach out to Tarvaris Jackson. He can at least buy them a toolshed or something to put behind that trailor. They can put the trophies in that.

U actually have it backwards.... the rift came when Payton wanted to have that center built but the admins said that he was not next in line to have anything named after him so even if he paid for it, his name could not go on it. Those administrators left, Mason and Culby were hired and the rest is history. See, back then, we had some people who musta had some BAMA heritage in em.

Now, please try to explain why you got Barlow about to fall thru the flo' :smh:

So, when LC nem was venting in the papers about having to pave that driveway and such.....that wasn't begging? LOL
 
MH, I'm sure we have a small trophy case that we have outgrown that ya'll can have. Just tell that lady to call and beg Braddy for it. Anything to help ya'll out....this is sad. Maybe I will send him a pic of that trophy table and he will just reach and help someone (AlaState... :smh: )

...and to be honest, i ain't even sure the Payton family paid for that...they help raise some money but you have to realize that his wife is a alum (former J-Sette) as well so her involvement in fundraising at JSU is not far-fetched. That bldg is a for the students and our students before and after it was built can be credited with financing it. We were just a step ahead of the the rest.
 
But TP we also have a weightroom seperate from the Walter Payton.

That ish is bad for a college program period.

TP you know we could have had that facility sooner if those old administrators would have just shut up.

But this is a bout ASU. We have a Football operations and it's definately not in a trailer...LOL

PLEASE don't try to act as if there wasnt a falling out or a run in. May not have been as bad as the one with you and Hughes, but it was one. And it festered. For a good while too.

Its sad that in this day and age your facilities still look like that. Anybody that hasnt built facilities yet really need their leadership questioned. There is a reason you havent won a SWAC football championship in years. Anybody that doesnt have decent facilities hasnt won a title in multiple years.
