Alabama State coach: Isaiah Crowell has matured a bunch

Bama St needs.to be shut down for a few or turn over the the white folks until a feasible plan can be developed to help their student athletes.

You're missing the point. What Barlow should've said is something like, "Crowell is doing well so far and we're hoping he continues to do just that." Leave it at that.
By saying what he said, Barlow will be sitting on pins and needles and whispering in Crowell's ear, "don't let me down because I've already spoken up for your maturity level and my credibility is on the line."

Crowell has been at ASU for over a year. Are you so small minded that you don't think someone could notice changes in a person over that time period?

I wonder how long those people that was fighting in the cafe over the last biscuit been there. Wonder if they ever "matured" while being there.

PLEASE don't let Crowell get into any trouble on or off the field while he's at Bama State because I for one will DEFINITELY revisit this thread, especially your post.:nod:

ummm nobody knows what the future holds for any player, student or anybody else. And stop acting as if its so inconceivable to say a player has grown or matured over the course of a year.

I don't have a dog in the hunt, but some of you cats are stretching it a bit. You all do realize the kid STARTED at Georgia AS A FRESHMAN, and was SEC Freshman of the year. If he has matured, I hate it for SWAC defenses......

Doesn't matter how good of a runner he is if he doesn't have a line to block for him. Even moreso, it doesn't matter if his coach doesn't play him on a consistent basis. You do know that Barlow has a history of pulling such stunts.:emlaugh: Time will tell though, time will tell.

Can you provide any information to show that he won't have any on or off the field issues for the remainder of his time at Bama State? This is how one will know over the long haul whether Crowell has matured or not.
In my opinion, it takes more than an eight-month probation period to determine one's maturity level.
I want to see his reaction and responses when he's not having a good day on the field. I want to see his responses when the coach yanks him unexpectedly. I want to see his responses when he runs into a stud defense and gets shut down.

Like I said though, time will tell.

You have to admit that kid is a thug and its in his DNA to get into trouble and cause trouble. It takes time for someone that has been in trouble as long as him to earn trust. He just got out of the corrections system if he isnt still in the system.

You sure werent this understanding when JSU got Casey. But then again, you had a change of heart about ASU begging to not be suspended this year too. Somehow your morals always change according to which school is in trouble. Some of us have morals and principles and some of us dont. Oh well, I guess thats just how you was raised.
