Alabama State beat Texas Southern 43 to 32.........:D
Keep up the good work Hornets!!!!
 
That was one slopy game!!! it was a steady down pour. Our special teams performed well. Gary performed so so Our defense just wore TSU out in the middle of the third Qtr.Our DB's still need some work.
But L a win is a win!!!!! 3-0 baby!!!!:D

I doubt seriously if GSU or SU scores 43 points on TxSU in the rain. Say what you want to about TxSU, but GSU and SU will have to play a full (4) quarters of football in order to beat the tigers. They have a smart QB and probably the best offensive line in the SWAC. Those jokers are big. ColeBlooded football just prevailed in the rain and with Brashears at QB.
 
Fool please, we wouldn't need to score 43 points on Tx. Southern because (unlike you) we have a defense that wouldn't allow them to score 32 points.

HS, congrats on the W. I can't hate on that. Man from what I hear that game was one to remember, a mud fight from begining to end in the rain.

Your team pulled it off with superior special teams play. Which can make all the difference. These nuckle heads don't understand what you are trying to tell them when you say they are going to have to come ready to play TSU. They also say we will not score on them as easily but they have not seen this fr. QB.
I tell you somebody is going to get shocked this year.

In almost every category, Texas Southern dominated Alabama State Saturday night at Cramton Bowl. But in the one category that counts -- the scoreboard -- ASU finished on top, 43-32.

When this team begin to gel and play to it's new young QB's strengths it's going to be something to see.

I just hope Lamont don't fudge it up.

Congrats on the win Bama State.

Hey Sleep, you are right man. I sat through two football games this weekend that soaked me to the bones. The first game was Tuskegee vs Benedict and ours against Bama State. True Freshman Jacob Chavon is the truth. In two and a half quarters against Howard he throws for 340 yards; then in a full game throws for 449 yards. We have answered our QB woes. Now we need to tighten up the special teams and running game with a strong dose of Jermaine Joseph and we'll represent the SWAC West in the championship game.

TSU HAS A NICE SQUAD AND IF THE IDIOTS AT Crumbling AND Jackass State FOR THAT MATTER, INSISTS ON SLEEPING ON 'EM........ ALL THEY NEED IS SOME FINE TUNING HERE AND THERE. STING, MH, ETC., DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME RESPONDING TO THOSE KNEEGROS, WE'LL SEE A FAIR ELECTION IN FLA. BEFORE THEY ADMIT THAT THE ONLY UNDEFEATED TEAM IN THE SWAC MIGHT BE PRETTY GOOD:eek2: :eek2:

He IS the truth. He reminded me so much of Kennedy. Similar size, similar arm, similar running style, similar results. He is going to be a great one before his career is over.

Props to Texas Southern. You guys really came to play.

Heck of a game, but those penalties were the death of yall.
Also, I gotta say that the 'interception' that was ruled as 'both players had control of the ball' was a darn fluke!! We had that dayum ball!! :mad:


And TxSouthern's QB is pretty nice --- but I was hoping our Defense break his freakin' lil' neck!! :D

But anywho... WE WON DAT JOINT!! ;)
