Alabama A&M vs Texas Southern: Game Updates - 7:00pm CT

I'm So Proud of My T-Tigers as I left the stadium today and got the word we did what I knew was coming I immediately felt better...Great Win...I'm Loving It!

In defense of Plummer he was trying to make a big play and as usually happens the ball was stripped by a defender from the back side.

That's his second one, fumbled a punt that cost us a score the other way in a previous game and now that one that cost us a score the other way and he is a Captain.

I don't think Causey is 100% the offense just looks sharper with Smalls in the game.

Why should he? Your team got whipped. Stop whining about a last second td. You were not going to win this game unless Asberry's ego got in the way. Damn, you fellows trip me out.

Like Sleeper said, when we were playing freshmen and a qb who had not played in two years you people were all over that with your texas sorry jokes....now we putting foot to your butt and you sounding like these people about AP whipping his child.

PUHLEEZE........find something to whine about.

Da Sleeper... act like you won a game before bruh!

I've bite. :read: Yes but the ATL and Charlotte airports are the hubs in the Southeast. Try B'ham. There are non stop flights from Houston (SW, United, American, U.S. Air, Delta).

Thanks JC, but I was just poking fun at some of the BAMA's. You know those that were mad because the things started to move to Houston. I was just being a cheeky bastad, I have been to a couple games at Alst. Back when I was @ TSU I was in Student Gov. and traveled to all the games as part of the TSU Court and I have been there 1 or 2 times since.

Who wants Jones back? The point is the stuff Spady is doing ain't cutting it. We have no qb. They suck. Time to try something different. Its embarrassing to get blew out by txsu

This is the fourth game of Spady's first season. If you saw the games, it should be clear that the offensive plays the coach designed are good and working. The receivers have been open for plays most of the games. The problems have been that the qbs have consistently missed open receivers, receivers have dropped some of the passes that were good, and there have been lots of mistakes in the form of fumbles or interceptions. Those are player errors, not Spady's mistakes. Our qbs are not performing in the system like the system demands, but that is not a Spady mistake. The qbs are Jones's players; Spady had to play with what was there when he arrived. Give everything time to work...I've seen enough to be encouraged that the offensive system will be dynamic when Spady accumulate the pieces (the qbs) necessary to run it right.

Let me tell you what your problem is going to be in the end... you don't have linemen. Right now, you are blaming the QB but IF (and that's a big if) you get a decent QB, your offense STILL won't work. Your whole offense need an overhaul to run the pistol.

The line is not the total problem. It is configured to run the pistol, but the quarterbacks are not mobile enough to take advantage of the blocking schemes. The true freshman qb we recruited from Johnson High would have been quick and mobile enough to run for yards as well as pass on the run, but he asked to be shifted to cornerback. The qbs are just not fitted to this system. Plus, some linemen are just freshmen. The qbs have had plenty of time to throw, and had plenty of open receivers...They just did not throw accurate passes.

Good summation Oracle.

Lined up to down the ball? Who? The defense? I was at the game and just watched the last Texas Southern possession and we were not lined up to kneel (victory formation). Don't believe me watch it yourself.

Chris please don't post the facts. They have been in here lying like a rug. But hey I guess that's what's helping them sleep at night. They were late in the 4th going hard at our subs but get mad when we chastise them for it.

I just cleared up what was being tossed out here bro. We were not in victory formation.

Hey, it took me by surprise too. The previous three possessions we were just trying to run the clock down and play prevent defense. I kept telling my boys that we weren't going to score; we'd just get into the redzone and run the ball and stay in bounds until we ran out the clock but when we scored it took me by surprise.

TXSU finally beat us, but don't worry we will beat you to sleep from now on.

Cee Dog, I really don't get what you all are having a hard time about. You all have a roster full of freshman, a new coach, a new scheme & some hold-over players. Things take time man. If you all give Spady time you all will be fine. I saw some glimpses in the game of what the future holds if you all give the man time.

Exactly. The last two seasons Asberry was getting his skulled caved in with underclassmen and Cole/Ramsey leftovers so everybody goes thru transition periods like this. You (Alabama A&M) just not used to it because the last coach was there for so long.
