Alabama A&M vs Prairie View A&M: Game Updates - 6:00pm CT

Tootie Ballard had 352 yards passing and 98 yards rushing with no INTS.... thats the one positive. Hopefully we build from this!

#9 PVAMU? No football IQ smh

Him and #20, they got burned all night long just like last week at TxSt. I don't know why they never played any of the other db's we have on the team. Against stu we changed them up a lot and kept a lot of fresh guys in the game, but these last 2 games they think they only have these two guys......SMH

Ballard was "balling" out of control. He's a great asset for AAMU. I expect him to shine well during the remainder of AAMU's season.

From what I saw, it WON'T be a losing season for the Bulldogs, that Ballard can play, that PV game could have gone either way

+1. That's very true. There was great equality on both sides of the ball for PVAMU and AAMU. We simply outlasted them and didn't make a crucial mistake, like the fumble by AAMU where we did kneel, @ the end of the game.

I hear ya, but it's hard to be confident in a victory if the defense is a question mark. Last year, we lost 3 games by a combined 5 points (PV-3, SU-1, and UAPB-1) all because the defense couldn't seal the deal. That was the difference in going 7-5 in coach Spady's first year and 4-8. I'm just hoping that our young defense can quickly learn how to put a team away. We had our shot when we got the INT and went up 43-40 with 4 minutes remaining. Not going to take anything away from PVAMU. Who knows maybe we'll get a rematch in Houston this year.

Good game PVAM, you all outlasted us and deserved the win. Our defense didn't step up when we needed them to, but we will get better. We plan on taking out our frustrations on UAPB is week, lol!!!!!!
