Alabama A&M vs Grambling St: Game Updates





Too many dropped passes that should have been touchdowns earlier. Need to get offense in gear...A&M still in this one.

C'mon Grambling...run the ball more. We're still toooooo pass happy!
 
Ironic...I was just thinking last night that GSU's defense played solid against Alcorn but didn't force a lot of turnovers. Now this big interception return by Seneca Lee will help! Go Defense!!!!
 
Quick Observation

Grambling offense is not mixing plays up and again virtually no running game.

AAMU defense looks good however the secondary is extremely suspect.

Grambling defense is playing relatively well.

AAMU offense appears to be better than last years.

Rock, man, you have got to be kidding me! If this crew beat us last year playing like they are today, I am going to be sick. AAMU offense looks like diahhrea right now! And Grambling should be blowing them out. No smack, but so far, I'm not impressed by either one!

We really need to work on the running game. It would actually help the pass offense. I realize Bruce has a stable of receivers to go to, but if we mixed it up and used the run more our offense would be very explosive!

End of the 1st half.

It seems that the demons of our opener have resurfaced. It also seems that the refs are calling this one about equal (giving calls to both sides). All of the penalities may be a carryover from the SCG.
 
Its not over but iot definetly looks bleek. Coach Jones should put Johnny Keith in Robinson is single handedly losing the game. 3 interceptions. They are stopping Bonds and the Dawgs just cant keep sending the defense on the field. They will wear down. But it is possible if AAMU can get some stops, that the dawgs can make a game out of it. But in the end i just dont see us scoring more than 14. final score gsu 31 aamu 14. we must control line of scrimage in the second half.
 
I'm watching the game, but I guess mine is tape delayed because it is still 7-0 in the 2nd.

The Bulldogs don't have the qb to pass the ball, but they keep trying. Gram is going to get Eugene killed because he is in an empty backfield on every play. Doug isn't trying to run the ball. Eugene is just running around throwing the ball up, but Gram is catching it. It looks more like a backyard game.
