The Alcorn had good bands since 1989, namely 1995 and 1999. The 1995 version of the S.O.D. would blow the 1989 version away!

I miss how BEt used to show the WHOLE halftimes back in the day...now they dont show the games period!

Alcorn was a beast in 1995 and 1999. It seems like they fell off after 1999. The Boom started getting bigger and better after '99 while Alcorn started falling off. :noidea:

Alcorn was a FORCE back in the day! Although, I was a youngun, I remember my family hightailing down 61S getting to games! And to sit on the hill and watch them enter the stadium and the thick ole GG's..They have done a 360 and it's time they get back to the ways of the old days.. How good it would be for the band to do all school field shows GGs included since this year will the university will be celebrating 140 years capped off at HC!
