I believe that I got it. I'm pretty sure I do. There's one problem for you though. If you want it it's going to cost you $59.95 to get it.
 



Southern was the best! JSU just didn't have the energy, showmanship, arrangements and precision to complete with Southern. JSU was just average.

Did you attend or are you looking at video.. JSu took the field and it was a tie on the zero the 5th was Su.. that's just my opinion though.

They both showed up and showed out..

b/c everything he said described Alcorn's current band.

Let him have his opinion and push on.... I was under JSU band and behind them most of the game, but there are a lot of other folk that is saying what dude feels..

It's just his opinion, no need to try to belittle that man for it. PUSH on, if you felt the battle was pretty much even then what someone else says shouldn't even bother you!

You know Alcorn folks are hatas! Especially since is was clear that SU waxed Alcorn the week before! lol

Nah, I think its just that Peeps are PUZZLED as to how Band "B" pleased both crowds and performed so well or equally to Band "A"....

which is impossible b/c Band "A" has the total package: (Great Head BD, Best Arrangers in the world, best drills, #1 Band in the world, Best Dressed College Band Award and all that good stuff) and Band "B" is(the band with poor head BD leadership, the band that doesn't sound 10% as good as Band B of the 90s, the band that does not have an arranger, the band with no drills, the band with ugly uniforms, the band that sounds like a N.O. High School, the band that supposedly only play all old music that was written 10yrs ago .... the band, well y'all get the point b/c the "others" create the topic every year. So refer back to those topics for further detail.)

That doesn't sound right to some people. Get the drift?
Something has to be wrong. So that's why some folk are having such a hard time taking in what they witnessed at the game or what they saw/heard from the videos. B/C there is no way BOTH bands should have gotten the "W" like most said or there is no way in the world that Band "A" should have only gotten the "EDGE" over Band "B".... and the killer is, some even say Band "B" got the "EDGE".

Something must be wrong y'all :rolly: It should have been an all out murder. No competition or battle at ALL! It should have been a repeat of the weekend before when SU took over Alcorn in EVERY way possible.

Man, if you're paying attention to the true arts of marching band...you'll see that JSt. came nowhere close. Still sounding like a 10A High School. I wish they'd learn that nobody will ever give them the respect they want, until their arrangers put on some big-boy pants.

You can blow (and, steadily lose stamina) all you want....you're still fighting for #2 in the SWAC each year....:lol:

I don't have to prove it...look around.

GSU often entertains New Orleans.. PEOPLE aren't hard to please these days...

I liked the song selections from JSU.. I can't really comment on the sound.. Roi saw me right under yall band... that is no place to really hear a band... which is why it confuses the hell out of me every year most of all of your member are crowded right under yall band... You are not hearing what people across the field is hearing are off of the side... I was there to tape SU from across the field.. I kinda of got out of the mode of caring what JSU sounds like being that it still sound like the trumpets are doing what they want to over there... So I didn't even waste my time.. I let them other cats talk about that... I was mainly concerned about MY band...

From where I was at people were HIGHLY pleased with SU on JSU side which is VERY uncommon....Because they usually always crying about how loud SU is.... But it was a good bit of times I saw some JSU folk cringe a bit at some of the sounds that was coming from JSU...

But like I said I was there to hear what my boys and girls sound like across the field.. I was mainly entertained by the song selection exchange... That's all I had to go by.

But just like many others (neutral) said that stepped a bit out of the friendly mode, SU was the better band in their opinions and IMO.... I never said both bands were equal because that would be a lie..

All the stuff you said trying to be sarcastic is actually true and very evident from watching the clips..

No one....they didn't have to. It's the same waxing JSU is gonna put on that azz in December.

Also, to me, JSU won vs SU but like everyone else, it's just a matter of taste. To ME, JSU typically wins halftime vs SU by a landslide. The debate is typically about the battle in the stands.

Damn homes, I was at the game too. I was sitting in the curb so I could hear both bands. The only tanglible thing you mentioned was hanging over badly. And that hanging over badly can do both ways.
