I enjoyed both bands! I loved SU's drill song, "Love Song." I LOVE that song! Enjoyed the Boom's dance routine better.

The Boom's version of that "Coming to America" was SICK!!!!!

and why did I see everybody EXCEPT you??

I'd just like to say nice seeing just dayum near EVERYBODY.

Nobody caught a hard "L", but I think SU was just a lil mo crunk and had a better song selection. I thought both bands did a great job during and after the game!! **note to self: do not stand in the long azz slush line before the game, I missed ALL of the pregame stuff**

Mayne this was by far the best BOOM/BOX classic i have ever witness lol(band wise football wise is a whole nother story). There wasnt a dull time in song selection from either band. You could tell that both bands prepared to come in and KILL the other but with both bands trying to do the killing their was no prey. The books for both bands are huge and the rest of these bands better get ready or they are gonna catch hell :lmao:. This battle lived up to all the hype. Best songs i liked from SU was "Mr officer, Never would of made it, and Weak. Best songs I digged from the BOOM was "Put that on Everything (sampled coming to america David B.), Take You Down, im feeling dat "labels or love, and that You remind me of my Jeep took me back lol. There was really no clear winner, both came with their A - game. SU song selection or shall I say timing on certain songs was a little better and the BOOMS fieldshow was definitely more entertaining. Wish the 5th could of went a lil longer because i know there definitely were more surprises from both bands. O and that was the best Ive heard the BOOM play "GETAWAY" and Knights by Knights in years

P.S though, SU really needs to leave "The Show" along lol, besides the screw up, the new arrangement had too much trying to go on

Technially, that was "Everything" by David Banner.....he just sampled from Coming 2 America

Technically it's still Coming to America if David Banner sampled it... Unless there was some big lady standing in front of the Boom singing "PUT THAT ON EVERYTHAAANG". lol. It's just the music to the song.

This is the first time ever that I'm giving two W's!!! Both Juke and Boom were in rare form. The only thing I feel left hanging on was the "Go Home". I was confused when the Jukebox didn't play it first and at all and secondly, it was dry when the Boom did play it but I guess that was because there was a lack of crunkness being that we won the game!LOL! Overall, this was truly one for the ages. The rest of the SWAC and other remaining bands on each of these two band's schedules should just get prepared for a long night when they come to town....Great battle!

LMAO you know BOTH bands did the D$mn thang when both JSU and SU fans can give props without the bashing when just a week earlier the bashing was all out war lol

If yall will excuse me, I'm going to go kill myself for missing what has turned out to be a BoomBox Classic for the ages!!!

I just watched halftime and I'm already hating that I backed out of going to the game.

The old folks have a saying, when there's no clear outright winner or loser........

It's like kissing your sista.......

I guess the Boom and the Jukes smooched.......

Good shat from both bands....:tup:

I have heard PV, and you are right, SU and JSU are the best 2 bands in the SWAC. PV is not close.

I can honestly respect that. But to say PV is not close, well I don't agree with that, but that's for another thread. I'm about to watch the halftime show now, but I WILL say that SU and JSU have proven over time to be the most CONSISTENT bands in the SWAC.

and why did I see everybody EXCEPT you??

Don't know.
I was just two sections over from the BOOM on the left side. I was one of the ones cursing at Rutland.

I didn't move when the old heads stood in the BOOM's seats during halftime, like I normally would.
But after the game, I made my way over to the BOOM and was at the very bottom, standing by Nene, Casey and Jared.

I always enjoyed see everyone.

:wavey: Southsuburbs (thanks for the hospitality), msnene, Jayrob, Banana Puddin and her hubby, CJ (we finally meet after ALLLLLLLLLLLL these years) and anyone else I met (my mind is bad). :wavey:

Ok, we all agree both bands did a pretty good job Saturday. It made for a very enjoyable showdown. .... So now let's get our hatred for each other back on track:

I'll start... (Yall follow)

For the record... Fugg Southern!
NT

Lol

Anyone that knows me, knows I loves me some Sonic Boom now. Imma true JAG to heart, but the only other band that I really, really love is JSU's Boom. I'll only give props to them, outside of the Jukebox. I will say though, I wasn't too impressed with either of the band's halftime shows. I much rather the battles in the stands.

Those damn DM's....good LAWD. :ebrow: I'm so glad the girl is gone. :emlaugh:

THAT'S A GOOD ANALOGY TO USE. JSU'S HALFTIME JOINT HAD ME ROLLING.

lol, yea i was laughing my butt off and getting "country" at the same time :lmao:
I had such a great time that I forgot we lost the game. The atmosphere.... the Tailgating.... the bands :dizzy:

2010, will be BIGGER & BETTER! :ebrow:

Now this describes my feeling!!
Everytime I remembered (sobered up) that we lost the game I got real sad and quiet. It only lasted about 5 minutes though!!

:lmao::lmao:

DOES ANYBODY HAVE THE FOOTAGE OF THE T.I whatever you like got to be one of the great moments in the game when SU played it.
