After SWAC Tourney Final Loss - PVAMU Hoops coach will be let go

Rumors are flying around that the new Athletic Director at Prairie View is going to fire Coach Rimm next week. His tenure is over.
 
Well, if goes to another school in the SWAC, we will hear TSPN talk about great he is all of a sudden.
 



This is not breaking news if you follow the Panthers......

Rimm good guy but this season was tough.

We were sitting near some old guys Wednesday and that is all they were talking about......hoping Rimm would lose so he could be fired....and they were not joking.

I believe Coach Byron Rimm, II will receive an extension (one-year), based on getting the team to the championship game two-years in a row (great marketing promotional, advertisement component, and brand awareness opportunities with ESPN2 broadcast) along with a combination of having the highest basketball APR for the SWAC men's programs (especially when you review the embarrassment some were assessed).

I see this is just your 7th post in 3 years but you are wrong about this. Coach Rimm will be back next year to coach his seniors.
