Not surprised at all. Think the Cowboys would rather pay him 2-3 years top dollar (depending on how many years are left on his deal with the Vikings) rather than pay Murray for 4-5 years
He has 3 years left on his contract with the Vikings. 3 years 44 million.
Which he would probably re-work if traded to Dallas. Get more upfront money and restructure the yearly amount which would be probably cheaper on the salary cap yearly than signing Murray to a new deal. Then the draft is so deep at RB, the Cowboys could draft a young guy to backup AP. Somebody like TJ Yeldon or even Gurley with his injury will be available in the 2nd round. You got Lankford from MI State, Coleman from Indiana who will probably fall to the 2nd round. Only the RB from Wisconsin is a sure round first rounder. Maybe one other back may slip in. Can't see no more than 2 guys taken that early. As much as I am not a Dallas fan. They are in a better position than most folks think. Just need to figure out whether to give Dez a long term deal or just franchise him for one year.
Not surprise. The question is what draft pick is AP worth? Maybe a 3rd rounder.
a 3rd rounder? man please. The Vikings won't budge. need more than a 3rd rounder
But he's 29 years old. He will be old news in a few years.

Vikings aren't going to let him go
