AAMU (NIT National Champions)


Mightydog already told you that this was the weakest team that AAMU has had in quite some time. I guess recruiting players with more lenient academic stipulations had something to do with it now that they are on the NCAA Div. I level. Now those great players just don't come as easy as they used to now. :lol:

Yet, they were still better than yours, and over more than half the teams in this league over the past three seasons. You figure that if you sniff the jocks of anyone who has something to say about AAMU, you'll get a few laughs. That you will, but they are laughing AT YOU! I think it's you who should let it go, and pray that maybe, by 2020, the SWAC might play a tournament or championship in your state.

BTW, who won the truck you raffled off?

We had the SWAC tourney I believe from 90 - 93 on campus also the '98 tourney was played in Dallas so Texas had the SWAC tournament a total of 5 years within the 90's.

No one won the truck because it wasn't raffled off. It was a layup, free throw, three point, half court contest. Sorry to take your smack from you. However, TSU police apprehended Brandon Reed as he was trying to hotwire the truck.

Actually, Brandon was doing it as a service to the police, because the truck was filled with electronic equipment stolen by the Tex-@ss Sothron band. The police told Reed that he could keep the truck, if he help to recover the stolen merchandise. He got the best of the deal.

Texas Southern is THE only SWAC school to EVER win back to back conference and tournament championships and we are smalltime?

Texas Southern is THE only school in NCAA history to have a player score 3,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in their career but we are smalltime?

Why AAMU wasn't in the NIT brackets? It was time for the "Gonzaga" of the SWAC to finally take their place among the NCAA elite and represent in the NIT.

Just like AAMU hasn't the past 3 years when Mike "swore" he had the inside news on AAMU getting the nod from the selection committee in advance of everyone else.
