Alabama A&M: Football team has the highest APR score in the SWAC

Huntsville, Alabama - Alabama A&M's football program was recognized by the Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association for its Academic Progress Rate today.

A&M posted a 937 APR score for the 2010-11 academic year, which is the highest in the Southwestern Athletic Conference for the second year in a row.

"I along with the assistant coaches and the academic enhancement team work extremely hard at keeping the student-athletes advancing academically," A&M football coach Anthony Jones said. "We recruit athletes to not only play football, but to grow and develop into substantial contributors to society."

If he is so smart, I wonder why he couldn't figure out not to play a hurt QB in the SCG game. man I tell you.......... :mad:

That man & his staff is keeping those kids ahead of the pack in apr (football).
That's commendable :tup:
What he does on the field is another story.
Just be happy they are clear of APR trouble because that's not what ya want lol
 
There is a definite correlation between high APR scores and talent level.
The higher the APR the lower the talent level. Good coaches have to balance it out

Well, he figured it out against PV CEE. If he had done just that one stupid move, it would've been PV playing in the SCG instead of Gram. :(

That was good coaching vs PV. :tup:

P, I thought yall lost to Gram. Did yall own a tie break or something? Didn't realize PV losing to AAMU caused you not to go to the SCG.

First of all, there have only been 13 SWAC Championship games....lol

Secondly, JSU is 8-5 vs you in that time and three of those wins came vs ****. It should be like 11-2 :lol: You all simply can't beat JSU unless **** is the coach. PERIOD!
 
AAMU keep getting those brainiacs and JSU will continue to embarrassingly kick y'all all across the field. Last year really showed how poor your level of talent is. Keep up the good work AJMemphis
