Be thankful you didn't play TxSU. You barely escaped an @ss-beatin' when you played them last. Bell didn't have a winning season coaching the high school that he should have been fired from before coming to JSU.

I give ASU props for winning the game, but Pete wasn't outcoached. That was a Ricks giveaway, and you know it. After 2 very questionable coaching decisions in that game, you probably would've been asking for Coe's head, had y'all not won.

The game was clearly turned on a decision by Coe. After the missed xtra point left ASU down 35-34, the call to shoot that rocket was beautiful. Pete never recovered after that.

MH, You beat SU one time recently in football and you act like we can't win on the field at all. I could understand if ASU dominated us all the time. You got one win when it finally counted. SU has won 4 of them alone since 97 and been in contention a couple of more times. I would say that gives any SU person the right to talk. When ASU starts putting multiple titles together then you can talk isht to Jag Fan. BTW only SU and JSU should be discussing attendence. The rest of you clowns need Classics to draw. Come on Mighty Hornet, you were at the game, and you saw that you were down 14 the majority of the game. Believe me dude, it had nothing to do with Pete's coaching.

Ricks had 3 int's inside the redzone, and they were all bad reads on his part, not forced by being under pressure. Steel Adams fumbled inside the 25 without being hit. That wasn't outcoached dog. To be honest, anybody that saw that game, knew the game should'nt have been that close. I don't think SU punted twice the whole game.

Any case, congrats on the win again, but don't fool yourself into thinking Pete got outcoached by Coe. Hell, you lost in Montgomery because Coe forgot how to coach.

BTW, didn't New Orleans' arena team come to Atlanta yesterday, and left a foot in somebody's arse? :winkgrin: :lol:

Before that kick, you led the whole while.
After that kick, we quickly scored and you never led again.

And if Coe "forgot how to coach in Montgomery" in September, he remembered how to coach in Birmingham in December.

I have watched the tape of the SCG (a time or three :snicker: ) and have really dissected that game.
The best team won. Without question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And Coe coached a better game than Pete.

That game was moved to the SUperdome because we acquired a half million dollar turf and did not want jerry curl or stamp burger juice on our Bermuda turf. Speaking of dictating, I am quite sure you remember when we sent you all 2000 ticket to the game in Baton Rouge and told ABC the game could not be broadcasted unless they came up with more money. Your SUperior not only tells you what to do but the American Broadcasting Company too. As I said, check with me a little later and only then will you know where Southern University Football Jaguars allow you all to play this year. Oh yea, did you know that both of the country bamas coaches make more money than dumbbell. All that means is their programs are now more attractive than yours/jsu's. :lol:
 
That kick was a good move, but it wasn't totally unexpected. After the kick SU went down the field twice, and AGAIN Ricks made some bad reads inside the 20. No coaching, just a bad read by a qb.

The kick made up for the dumb decision not to make SU punt from their own 35 facing 4th, and 14, instead of letting SU keep the ball, which lead to a touchdown 3 plays later; Or, the dumb decision to go for a 1st down at mid-field facing 3rd & 9 with 59 seconds left in the half, instead of punting. Good for you that SU didn't score.

In both games this season, the better team that day lost.

MH, it aint no whining bruh. But you want us Jags to act like we are some losers or something. This is the sports board. So none of that last century crap like it was really a 100 years ago. You don't see me saying ASU has not won a football title since 91 do you? Like I said enjoy ASU's win in the SCG. But don't get it twisted, SU will be back and we will win it again. Don't get mad at us because we still have that championship swagger even though we lost the SCG this year. That's what happens when you are used to winning and the fact you are harping on the fact ASU won shows that yall aint used to winning and know it will be a long time before it happens again. The attendence title has nothing to do with what happened in the SCG, but why should SU be ashamed of it and not boast of it regardless of what happened on the field. After raising our ticket prices this year it is definitely something to be proud. I will expect Crampton to be sold out every game since yall will be the defending champions.

As for this "long time before it happens again", you might wanna take a look at those rosters And see what ASU will have back and see what SU has. It just might be "a long time before" su even makes it to Bham again.

btw, ASU drilled you for 5 straight TDs in the 2nd half, so you might wanna think twice before saying that su was the best team that day.
