The kid is not coming to A&T because he wanted to be there...he is coming because he was kicked out of school and not allowed back in. It just appears that the Celebration Bowl was why he chose A&T instead of another SWAC or MEAC school.

That's only true of Gram. Only a few on A&M are transfers.

In my mind, there is a difference in transferring to a place where you want to be and transferring because the place you want to be no longer wants you. Enthusiasm and team cohesion are concerns.

This man made a choice. A choice he made in his better interest. The Celebration Bowl help lead him to his decision. Therefore, it intangibly reaps benefits. Never forget that no man is infallible nor lost. It is our job to save our people. If not, who else will?

Let me add. Personal feelings about how another school shapes it’s future is irrelevant. Our leadership at Grambling currently is strong. Therefore, we are unworried about bringing in so called bad seeds because we shape and mold the person once they are blessed to arrive at our shores from whatever chaotic past they once had. Today is a new day and Grambling is and always will be the shinning example “Where everybody is somebody.” We are seeing spikes in all aspects of our university. Most only get blessed to get continuous updates on the athletic side of the ship.
