A question

Why do you all think white america have such a problem with the hip- hop culture?

You swear hip hop lyrics are the only lyrics that curse or have some negative conotation in them.

Because it's mainstream and their kids are being influenced by it.

BINGO!!!!!!

Besides, white folks don't really like anything that's closely related to the black culture. Furthermore, hip-hop is a big money business and lots of blacks are successful because of it.

White people really don't have a problem with hip hop. They listen to it too. If they didn't how would Bill O'Reilly would have known about luducris lyrics? White People own these record labals thus owning the artists. I remeber being put on hold by this company and the music that was playing was Missy Elliot. And one time i walked in a bank and heard B2K.

white kids want to look and act black, but want to be treated white. these corporate wiggers can't handle a real urban lifestyle.
this is just a fad, when those trust funds start to disappear, this will all change.

That's whose lyrics he was quoting. I came on the tail end of that. But he really had a problem with them.

Lawd, tell the truth and shame the devil!!!

Do you think their concern is much ado about nothing?

I do. They, white america, always want to say something about 'gansta rap' . I haven't many rappers of late rap about killing anybody. So I don't see the problem.

Rap music has gotten a little out of control. But rap music didn't make those to boys go and kill all those people in Columbine. White parents don't really know what is going on in there kids' lives. Tell me how a teenager can build pipe bombs in the garage and the parent doesn't know what's going on??? The parents are scared that their kids are going to get mad at them. Whatever!!!

As Bernie Mac said,........"I will kick a kid's azz!!!" Parents are totally out of touch. They don't go to PTA meetings, they don't know the kids their children hang out with. Puh-leeze. Whitey is just looking for something to blame it on to take the lack of parenting focus off them.

There isn't much violence in Rap music anymore. At least the ones that mainstream America is listening to. It's all about money, things, cars and women.

What are the lyrics of the average rock song, let them dissect those lyrics.

What lyrics were O'Reilly quoting?

Hard rock must not sell, or they like to sweep that mess under the rug. Or they like to do whatever necessary to keep us from being successful. I can't stand much of what passes for rap music in the mainstream today, but I wouldn't focus bans on that alone.

All the stuff said is correct. Add this to it.

The fact that in the past year or 2, they have been included in the downsizing, disappearing pensions, educated-qualified but still can't find a job mess that everyone else has had to deal with in the past.

They just don't like the fact that these "thugs" are making legal money by tha ton in what seems to be a recession proof business. Add the fact that they really can't protest the major labels anymore because now, 7 out of 10 rappers
own their studios now. They just use the labels as distributors. The rapper's are basically free to "shop" for their own deals........................... Thanks to Master P showing them the way.

They may put pressure on sponsers, but that's it. Pepsi dropped Luda because of O'Rilly. BUT -- He still got the $5 million he was due without having to do the work. They didn't even think of boycotting Luda's record company ...... What would be tha point.

I would love to see O'Rilley and company outside a studio like ........ say ......... SUGE KNIGHT'S THA ROW RECORDS protesting.:lmao: :lmao:
