When reading the NT you have to carefully consider the contextual meaning and use of the word law, the meaning can and often is applied inaccurate, arbitrary, and unscriptural.
The word ?law? has several meanings in the New Testament. The law can mean the Decalogue or Ten Commandments (Rom. 13:8; 7:7). It can also refer to an individual law (Rom. 7:2, 3). It can be defined to the divine revelation or to the whole Old Testament.
The Hebrews writer uses law to denote the ceremonial law (Heb. 9:22; 10:1). Paul used the word law to denote the legal indictment or sentence of death that the law brings (Gal. 2:19; Rom. 7:4). Paul can say that believers are ?dead to the law? as a legal sentence of death and then, in the same epistle, urge believers to obey the law as a guide for godly living and sanctification (Rom. 13:8-10; Gal. 5:14, 19-21).
The OT [10 Commandments] laws [Ceremonial, Judicial & Moral} The that apply to us are the one that gives us directions on man's relationship with each othere and mans relationship with God. The ceremonial laws were done away with, nailed to the cross.
However, Gal. 6:2 tells us to:
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the
law of Christ.
Christ, have laws - the NT.
You also have to keep in mind that there were hundreds if not thousands of OT Laws.
