All we need to know is where to mail the check. Don't know why Jacksonville is upset because either party can buy out the contract for 15,000 a game.

I knew it wouldnt be long before the rest of the SWAC started avoiding competitve non conference games. This coward scheduling practice is contagious. Wait a minute...let me back up....yall are like 2-40 against JxSU, so yall arent competitve with them at all. Maybe you guys did the right thing by being cowards and backing out of the contract. JxSU got yall so scared that yall cant even answer the damn phone. Thats the part that gets to me.

I know whitey has been knocking yall up side the head and giving yall diseases and pinning tails on black folks in Alabama for years, but there is no need for yall to be afraid of whitey over the phone. This is a residual effect of the Bull Conner years. I guess yall think if yall answer the phone and give whitey some bad news, he is going to reach thru the phone and knock you in the head with a blackjack again.

Yall shoulda done this 20 years ago...maybe they wouldnt have dominated yall so badly.

You guys have never shown much business savy....this just goes to illustrate it better.
 



GR, come by and pickup the check for them. Since they will be paid for two years, you may talk them into splitting it with since your attendance was low this year.

And you thought we only disrespected the big three.

Im not saying that you should not have cancelled the series, all Im saying is do it in a professional manner. I know that sound foriegn to you, but there is a right and a wrong way to do things. These folks were trying to make their schedule out, depending on you, and you would not return their call. That is about as cowardly as it gets.

And furthermore,

I dont know who your other non conference game is against, but Im willing to bet that game is not as big as the JxSU game. You can hide behind the business decision excuse all you want....both you and I know that you were tired of taking this annual ass beating. Werent they kicking yalls ass while they were still D2? You can hide behind all of the excuses in the world, my eyes are not wide shut.

Again, I say...all this from someone whose AD hired a head coach the calibre of James Bell, then proceeeded to tell the alumni and fans to "bite me," after he did it.

The same can be said of my post. Did or did not Culby tell y'all to go to hell, suck him, lick him, or whatever else he told you to do when the shrill cries against his decision to hire Bell were announced? If he didn't do it, Bell did!!

At least Culberson does what the thinks is best for JSU. Sometimes you have to make tough decisions even if it is not the popular one. I bet Culberson would have called JxnVille back about the contract. Bell did not and does not want a coach from the BCF ranks and in some instances I agree. Wins and losses are totally different but the the way the Bell runs a program is TOTALLY different from the way Hughes ran a program. In my opinion, Culberson has the right idea ...maybe not the right man.

In this case, Martin just does to please the masses and look like a chicken.

I guess business savvy for lynch st is to get raped by the commission who oversee's klan memorial stadium......

I guess business savvy is hiring a 2-10 and then proclaiming him to be the greatest coach in the SWAC as you watch your attendance and revenues (and let's not mention that pathetic sandlot team display y'all called football) slide down the commode.....
