They are a D2… the game went the way it was suppose to….. they had HALF the scholarships… He had more playoff wins than JSU has …. Also didnt Mickey Joseph SWAC TC by 3 touchdowns?.. ISH happen…. . TC and staff are CURRENTLY the defending HBCU national champions. Whipped all your arses along the way. No way that mediocre D2 staff that got blew out by PVs headcoach as well as bama state's is the best staff in this conference

Mickey’s win over JSU was a fluke. TC really did that bad of a coaching job to lose to a swac west bottom feeder. Then made the necessary corrections in the games that followed. Alabama state has been knocking on the door of a swac championship since E Rob been there but he running his offense like it’s 07. Yes, E. Rob is 1-2 vs JSU since taking over. What is his record against AAMU in the classic again ?

Using your “theory” … AAMU was suppose to beat Jackson State since you lost to Grambling by 21 and AAMU beat Grambling by 5. You keep focusing on gsu as if JSU didn't beat the shyt out of All yall. 3 teams in the Swac beat the shyt out of y'all..su, bama st, and famu and all 3 took Ls to THEE. Clearly gsu was an anomaly and not the rule (since our HC was experimenting with his backup qb before conference play.) As stated you don't know what Valdosta state would of did. What we do know is that they blew your subpar coaching staff out. The same subpar staff that couldn't stop a bad bama state offense nor generate a TD in 4 quarters

Valdosta would not beat Jackson State. Would they beat most SWAC teams, yes. BUT not THIS Jackson State team. They wouldnt have been able to hold up in the trenches. This is the transfer portal era. We have too much depth and talent for them. JSU drug a Delta State team that lost by 3 in the D2 finals.
As for Gram or any other team, in sports, schitt happens. I was there and knew GSU wasnt a good team. JSU had a bad night. GSU wouldnt have wanted to see us again. AlaState vs JSU cant even be compared on the same level as Miles and AlaState. JSU vs AlaState is more of a rivalry than some people want to give it credit for. The JSU vs ASU game had SCG and season implications.
In closing, we aint scared of no D2 coach.

You are correct. That is not how sports work but you keep making those comparisons. Why even bring up the GSU game? Flukes/upsets happen in sports. In this transfer portal age, we can't even compare a D2 to a good D1. It used to be where D2s could load up on unwanted transfers (like Comegy did at Tuskegee) but those days are over. A D2 is a D2 in every sense of the word in 2025.

I have not seen your staff. I just know you have ANOTHER D2 head coach. Maynor had a much more impressive resume at WSSU than Shade has. I even just looked and yall so uninterested that you dont even have your staff updated. Thats the difference in winning and losing. Yall not serious at AAMU. Yall just want pretty stuff. Poor TP…. You are lying again… (or miseducated)… the staff has been updated on the website… you just don’t know how to navigate I guess… and with the portal.. D2 is NOT D2…. D1s are leaving behind ALOT of talented high school kids now and recruiting strictly from the portal. Those high school kids have to go somewhere. I see it everyday… you got to stop putting labels on kids based off of what division they play in. The SWAC women’s player of the year in basketball (FROM JSU) came from the SIAC… Kentucky State. These kids don’t care about no division… they want to play the sport.

You guys are tough on our sister school on the Hill. We in Montgomery are keeping our good eye out for the the Sam Shade led Bull Dawgs. They normally don’t stay down too long. Shade has an interesting staff but it going take time to implement a new system and uplift the program. The question is will the fans give him the time to do so.It's a dayum shame. You know, the Trump administration would be proud of a model citizen program like Annie Mae, their fans have been cutting costs by only caring about Homecoming and the Classic. Crowd atmosphere is so quiet, you can hear a mouse pissing on Cotten on the other side of the Mississippi. I bet Shade isn't worried about losing to anything from Mississippi. I haven't checked the records, but I am willing to bet he did a lot of beating on Ole Miss and Miss State while at Bama. It will just carry over to JSU. He doesn't care about which Mississippi school it is, it's just that JSU is up next.
