24 - Season 5

Was I the only one bored through last night's show? Next week doesn't look exciting either.

Apparently, from the people I talked to, yes.

I STILL am not completely convinced that Logan is the mastermind of all this. He is DEFINTELY involved, and VERY intricately. But I still think there is one more shocker to come that will implicate someone big.

And for you 'reality buffs' (read Fiyah), you see they used a gas station and the restroom last night as decoys. Audrey used the gas station to get the tracker off her car while it looked like she was pumping gas (something that has been said never happens on 24). And Chloe used the restroom as a good cover for what she was doing in the server room (many say that the characters go 24 hours without using the restroom....at least the writers acknowledged it).

As for the overall show, it was very entertaining to me. There as still numerous storylines being set up that will be resolved over the next 8 weeks. Somehow, I don't trust Heller, but with 24, I have been wrong MANY times.

I have heard the sentiment over the last few weeks from some that think the show is boring. I think they come in with too many expectations of what they WANT to happen. Then when something else happens, and there isn't a lot of action (read killing, maiming, hurting, etc.), they leave unfulfilled. Instead, they should just watch each show for what it is worth.

I think they're trying to drag the action out, over various shows...they are taking too long to get down to the nitty gritty, for me...I'm ready for Jack to kick ass now.

If that's the case, then what will you have to look forward to in the next 2 months? The finale would be VERY anti-climatic if that were to happen. Just watch, there will be a few more twists and surprises that will lead to an outstanding end to the season.

Last night show was a little different than previously episodes to me. I really enjoyed it. You know it got to be another twist to it. To me Chloe looks like she aint quite rap to tight. Maybe it just her expressions.

I know, s phi s...I'm just being impatient. :D

Figures...

I like this season because Jack is under more duress. Starting with him coming back from the dead, to now being implicated for a second time in the assassination of David Palmer. Jack has to make his moves as a fugitive instead of working for the government, even though he still is.

Last night show wasn't boring to me. Now we all know the real story line to take down the President of the United States. Glad to see the Secetary of Defense Heller is back in picture. All this **** going on and he's in Japan for a summit. WTF!

Btw..I like the part when Jack look Wayne Palmer in the eye and told him to get ready. :) Then I knew it was going to be a shoot out. Henderson men didn't expect the miltary to show up. :lmao:

I was lmao @ the shootout at the bank.

Henderson's men were handling up.......Until the army came and "Grand Theft Auto'd" their azz..:lol:

But anyway, I was entertained and look forward to next week. I didn't catch all of the previews for next week but it looked like something was happening to Chloe. :scared:

S Phi S, I guess my boredom sometimes this season comes from having seen so much action in over 110 episodes of 24. I've seen every episode for seasons 1-now and this season is moving very slow. That's all. I'll watch this episode again before next Monday to see if I missed something.

By the way, I still have my DOD(Audrey and/or her daddy) theory.

JSTUS,

Knowing what I know now, I am a little more with ya. Secretary Heller is more suspicious to me than Audrey though. Plus, think back to the file that Chloe hacked into that had DOD encryption.

-OFF TOPIC-
Anyone seen the trailer for The Sentinel? Seems like Keifer is locked into these types of roles.

Just finished watching another tape delayed session of 24 and to those that think it's boring just don't get it.

24 is unique in how it structures it's shows, but they are all connected together with a single theme from season 1 to season 5. Killing off David Palmer was just another dot on the line for this puzzle.

I liked the line the guy in the bank said, "if they get me in here they will think I know about the recording and kill me, I'm going with you (looking at Jack)"

That guy figured out quick who to be with, too bad he did take one and got killed anyway.

Where has Mike Novak been these last few hours? Remember he didn't like the Vice President coming in and taking over the way he did. I would figure he might become a alley with Aaron and the VP to get to the President.

oh and great news:

Kiefer signs on to star as Jack Bauer for 3 more seasons of 24!

:jump: :jump: :jump:

That is great news, Fiyah...I love me some Jack Bauer, honey. :jump:

s phi s...yes, I have seen the previews, for The Sentinel and I will be going to see that, too. Keifer Sutherland reminded me of Jack Bauer, in that role, as well...he does well w/those type of roles.

Hmmm, interesting how Mike came back in the picture and has put this all together so quick.

Remember Curtis was fired with the others and replaced by homeland security. I am sure he will pop over to Bill's house to have a few cold ones with Bill and Chloie. They will talk about the good old days while playing Tour of Duty on PSP.

Well I kinda figured he would be working with Bill also. Hell, Curtis seems to be the only person at CTU that can go out with Jack in the field and come back alive.

oh yeah, that's right...forgot all about that part.

Hmmm....I didn't remember Curtis being in that number (though I am frequently wrong about this show). Last I remember from Curtis was that he was in charge of transporting Bierko back to CTU medical. Now that I think of it, I never remember them making it back to CTU, nor any mention of Bierko after that.

You're on point. That was the last scene that involved Curtis.

Regards.

I don't remember this scene, at all.

Think back to the week that Jack blew up the natural gas facility to keep the nerve gas from reaching homes (it was about a month ago). Jack and Bierko were in that car as the explosions went off at the end of the episode. Remember Curtis found Jack at the beginning of the next episode carrying Bierko over his shoulder? Curtis then asked Jack what he needed him to do. The last I remember hearing from Curtis or Bierko was when Bierko started going into shock and Jack told Curtis to organize a transport team and get Bierko back to CTU alive. I don't recall any mention of EITHER after that. That was the beginning of the episode 3 weeks ago.

Keep your eyes peeled this week though. I have a 'hunch' that Curtis will spring back into action in a big way. :)
