Alabama State Softball Walks Off Lindenwood​


MONTGOMERY, AL --The Alabama State Hornets rallied to score two in the seventh inning and walked it off on a single off the bat of Ayana Frank to pick up the 6-5 victory over the Lindenwood (MO) Lions Friday.

Kohanna Pousson (1-0) picked up the victory out of the bullpen for Alabama State (1-1). The right-hander went four innings, giving up two runs, both of them earned, on three hits.

Offensively, the Hornets were paced by Tallee Sims, who went 3-for-4 on the day with a home run and two RBI Braylin Cook put together a standout day at the plate as well, going 1-for-2 with a home run, two walks and two RBI, Arianna Cox-Cole also helped out for Alabama State, putting together one hit in two trips to the plate while adding a double and a walk
 



Definitely improvement in team skills in the SWAC. I don't see a super talent yet but I am watching.
