Right .This mf left 3 years ago. WTF!
Those familiar division two players create familiarity and continuity which can be built on
the difference is so glaring it will have you thinking you're watching a high school vs college team...I'm against coaches bringing all their players if they level up from Division 2 to FCSI understand that but it also ces down to size and speed. Not saying those players he got aren't that but when you look at dominant FCS schools they weight class and height is a mofo. In other words of your line gets pushed around up front you will have a losing season.
5-6What was SC State record the year before Chenis Berry arrived?
why? when you're talking about 1st string players, a number of D2 starters would compete for starting positions at the FCS level. the difference comes when you start talking about depth, because of the difference in the number of scholarships.Man I hope this dude ain't about to load us up with D2 players. I agree some of them can, but when playing against JSU, PV, FAMU, Gram and SU week in and week out you need size. JSU is kicking butt because they got size on the O-line and D-line. When we played Ausitn Pea, those dudes were big up front.why? when you're talking about 1st string players, a number of D2 starters would compete for starting positions at the FCS level. the difference comes when you start talking about depth, because of the difference in the number of scholarships.
that had more to do with the styles of the two teams. we could've had a team with no D2 players and that game would've turned out the same. we weren't able to run the football all year, and were often weak in the secondary.
when you run the kinda offense Berry runs your QB has to be on. if not you're gonna be in trouble, especially when you can't run the ball and the team you're playing in built on physicality on both sides of the ball.
